Great spot if you're going to a show at Chaifetz Arena or Fabulous Fox. Comfortable rooms, walkable to both places, free parking. The rooftop bar is lovely.

We prepared to get into the bed when we noticed several nasty looking stains on the sheets. Additionally, there were multiple holes in the bedding. My husband called the front desk and asked them to replace the bedding, and they said they’d send someone. 2 hours later, I had to call again to check the ETA and the lady at the front desk said she “was busy”, but would try to put in a request. We left for dinner, came back several hours later, and the sheets still hadn’t been changed. The lady at the front desk said she would send security up. Not sure if security changes sheets, but that was her solution. After 30 minutes, we still had no one come to the room. Finally, she asked if we just wanted a new room. What a horrible experience, and we’ll for sure never be back.

Here on business. Got in pretty late, about 11:30pm- all I wanted to do was shower watch tv and sleep. HDMI cord wasn’t hooked up. Maintenance said they’d have to take the TV off of the wall, connect it and then remount the TV before I could use it. I just said never mind. It was too late to wait on all that. I couldn’t find the spot for breakfast so that was missed. Lastly, I booked a green room and checked into a blue room. They take pride on the colors you choose as they are an art gallery. For the price, I am quite disappointed. I don’t plan on returning for another stay.

Upon arriving the front desk clerk did not look up from her phone - even though 3 people were standing there waiting. After finishing with the first person she still did not greet me or even look up until I approached the desk and asked to check in. She took my name, handed me a piece of paper to sign and handed me keys. There was zero explanation of parking, hotel amenities, food/drink, nothing. As a result when we tried to check out the rooftop bar later last night (10:15pm) we discovered that it had closed at 10pm. Overall disappointing service will have us not returning. We have a daughter at SLU for the next 3 years and have been looking for a hotel to be our go-to. Angad Arts won’t be it.

This Boutique Hotel was a great deal for Downtown St Louis. The staff was friendly. The bartender on the rooftop bar was charming, drinks delicious and a wonderful view on a balmy night. The shower was top notch with nice bath products provided and a cozy robe. Also fun to see the art. The art upstairs in the music room could use some better lighting to display it properly. The hotel is like a local 21c featuring local artists, which is a treat to see.

Stayed at the Angad Arts Hotel while visiting St. Louis for a concert at Chaifetz Arena. The area was nice and within walking distance to the concert. The penthouse restaurant views of the city were beautiful. This would also be a great place to stay if you were going to see a show at the Fox Theater.

The hotel is very unique! You enter on the first floor, which is an art gallery, and then take the elevator up to the 12th floor to check in. It seems odd that the hotel lobby is on the 12th floor, but it definitely adds to the uniqueness of the hotel. Each floor is themed with a different color. Our floor was red, but there are also blue, green and yellow. The room was very spacious with a kitchenette/dining area and sitting area with a TV. The adjoining room has the bed, two wardrobes and the bathroom. The room was clean, but the sofa was stained in several places and could use a deep cleaning. The 6th floor also did not have an ice machine, although there was a bucket for ice. The hotel severs breakfast for a fee and also has a bar/lounge for drinks. There is parking onsite, but it appears you have to pay for parking. The gates were up while we were there, so we weren't charged, but there were parking rates listed on a sign, but it also said that hotel guests could take their ticket up to be validated, so perhaps you don't have to pay any longer??? We had a great time and would definitely choose to stay again. It's a perfect place to stay if you're going to the Fox or Powell Hall.

The propert austetically was cool, its check in isnt on the first floor its on the top floor and they use a valet service of 1 person to guide all its guests to go to the twelf floor to check in and the valet isnt always around so guests were confused, they had air conditioning controls in each room however they didnt work and the rooms temp was set to 80 degrees. I hardly slept cause of the temp and the bed was not comfortable it felt like laying on concrete.

Liked the cleanliness, disliked the construction around the property that led to a lot of outside noise in the room, the previous occupant in the room left the alarm clock on so I had an early wake up and was hard to get back to sleep with the construction noise, the TV was disconnected so I had to fix it myself

My room was not ready at check-in. They said they would call when it was ready. I never received a call as I sat in my car for an hour. When I kept seeing all these people going in, and taking their bags in, I finally went in to see what was going on. When I walked up, they said, oh yes, we have your room. Communication from hotel was not great.

Unique color schemes - not a fan of the "red" room. Bathroom had no Kleenex, there needs to be an exhaust fan. Desk lamp didn't work. There needs to be light fixture over table between beds so you can just reach up and turn off the light without getting out of bed. Floor lamps in the corners force you to get out of bed to turn them off. Shampoo and body wash anchored to shower wall was hard to pump and use.

The Angad Arts Hotel is one of the nicest boutique hotels I have ever found. I like boutique hotels. I seek them out. This one is special. The ground floor is a free art gallery displaying local and regional artists’ work. Much of the art installed there is for sale. Lucky you. The rooms have one of four colors schemes representing a corresponding state of mind: Blue/Free, Red/Empowered, Green/Rejuvenated, and Yellow/Curious. The room number placards are an art installation all to themselves, having been commissioned from a local artist. The property is secure-only room key cards will operate the elevator to the guest floors. The Skyline Terrace lounge on the penthouse level offers excellent views of the city and Gateway Arch. Stepping out of the elevator on floor 10 you are greeted with an 8-foot tall, magenta-toned, plate glass mirror in a gilded frame. The better to see you with? Don’t ask why. It’s art! It goes with the hallway’s Victorian vibe and 4-panel wood guest room doors. Guess what? The doors are art! No one is going to bust down your flimsy wood door because the wood is a façade over very secure, steel framed doors. There’s a huge walk-in shower. The bedding is luxurious… I could go on, but nothing I say will imprint upon you like a stay at the Angad Arts will. I so highly recommend it. It is the most richly appointed hotel I have ever seen at its price point. Oh, it’s also adjacent the STL Symphony and Fox Theatre is just 1 block S. Stop standing around. Go!
