Very centrally located old hotel. Room had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable, but bathroom was tiny and needed a renovation- still had blue tub and sink and toilet paper roll holder was under the sink! Parking garage they use could not take the height of our vehicle so that presented an immediate problem. Elevator was very old and slow.
A few times the woman on the desk staff, who appeared to be training another person, made me wait and completed her task before talking to me. She was pleasant enough, but I had a weird experience with her when I tried to check out. She said my husband had already done so earlier, to "let me sleep." My husband, in fact, had just come down the elevator with me and had walked past her, with me, and the luggage cart, leaving the cart with me and going to get vehicle. When I said no, he did not check out, she insisted he had and pointed to a stranger outside, who was not even the same race as my husband! She really should have been paying more attention to what was happening in their tiny lobby.
