It is in need of some TLC, the decoration is old but that is shown in the photos and reflected in the price. "We had booked a boat on the Thames for my 50th birthday for bank holiday weekend.. two days before we were due to leave it was cancelled due to the rivers being on red alert. Having spent months planning it we didn’t know what to do instead. We feel incredibly lucky to have found Le Chateaux was available. "This property is just amazing. Full of character and charm and so very well suited to the large group that we were. From under 2’s to grandparents in their 80’s, it was spot on Offering high chairs, potty’s, travel cots and plastic child friendly plates etc, as well as swings and garden toys, our great niece and nephew were very well catered for The house is full of nooks and crannies, so it was easy to find a quiet spot to sit and read or have forty winks! Stayed here with a group of friends, to wake to the sound of nothing but bird song...then had a pool party in the heated pool, barbeque on the veranda over looking the country side, to leisurely stroll through the lanes to scotney castle...plenty of places a car drive away...just the perfect place to get together, we didnt want to leave. And a shout out to John the house manager who was on hand if we needed him."
