Not a bad place if you have business in the neighborhood, but greeting customers at check in could have been a bit more polite and attentive. Perhaps I was just unlicky with a shift.

I found this hotel to be very much what a really good hotel should be and that is, a) a refuge for the traveller b) very polite, friendly and courteous staff c) a hotel with excellent proximity to the principal concerns of Stockholm d) an hotel with excellent facilities which were spotlessly kept e) an hotel which reflected the people of that country f) the hotel had a vibe of both being safe and quiet I very much look forward to returning when I am next in Stockholm and do genuinely recommend to others to stay at the Elite Hotel Arcadia.

Great clean hotel - staff are welcoming plus good choice at breakfast. Approx 30 minutes walk from centre / harbour area .. up hill.

We have stayed here a few times however notice small things which give the hotel a slight air of neglect — missing tiles in the shower area, for example . Staff excellent as always but missed the bar being available for a drink or snack and definitely missed the waffles at breakfast!

I really enjoyed my stay with my wife. Staff are incredibly friendly and nice. Great breakfast. If I have to comment on something it would be how cold the room was for me and my wife (20 C) without any possibility to increase the temperature.

Best choice for KTH visits
The Elite Hotel is your best choice by far if school, business, or conferences take you to the nearby Royal Institute of Technology (KTH). The rooms are comfortable and clean, the breakfast bar offers a great variety even for extended stays- I've stayed here for up to two weeks at a time. Amenities (sauna and gym) are good, but nothing special. What is special, however, is the staff that is always friendly and helpful. I've seen some familiar faces over the years, and it is always a warm welcome.

Excellent experience.
Excellent front desk staff. Breakfast was great with options. Very clean and comfortable bed. Great location for me as three minutes to the metro! Would it hesitate to stay there again!

Location was great, very close to metro stop, only 3 stops from Stockholm centre. Breakfast was fantastic, great selection of food and good times for when breakfast was available too.

The breakfast!!! Incredible! Never, ever have I seen such a spread - and the variety was like a sampler of Swedish cusine. The hotel is charming, location is excellent and the staff were lovely. The sauna got really hot! So nice... many saunas are only warm. I look forward to another chance to stay with Elite.

Great staff. Small-ish, but very nice rooms. Had what I needed. Excellent breakfast. Coffee was outstanding. Nice and clean area in Stockholm, bit what area there isn't.

The hotel is conveniently located near KTH. It has a very good breakfast. The hotel however is in a pretty old building, with an old elevator. The room was comfortable in general. I would say it is a slightly above average hotel, very good for spending a night while visiting for business, less so for vacations.

Nice hotel with good breakfast. Just make sure you do not stay on the 5th floor if you don't like to walk stairs with your bags. Lift only runs to the 4th.

My stay at the Elite hotel was fine but I'm not happy at all as Hotels.com made me pay 3 times what I should normally pay. For three nights I paid 6930SEK for 3 nights while I found out that the hotel charges only 810SEK per night

Maybe not Elite but certainly nice enough
Enjoyed our two night stay here. The bar is quirky and we had fun evenings. The lift is real old school but does the job. The room and breakfast were typically Swedish and the beds were comfortable.

Excellent location - buses and trains in walking distance. The rooms, although compact, were comfortable with fabulous beds and great showers. Breakfast was the best we have had in a long time- both hot and cold food and so much choice! Also nice to have a small bar for a nightcap after spending a day sightseeing. The only thing we missed was a kettle in the room did that early cuppa before breakfast -otherwise highly recommended!
