I didn’t receive any VIP access. I asked if I could use the lounge but they said I would have to pay extra per day so I gave up The one thing that really put me off was that when I checked in the hotel did not ask for a credit card to guarantee any sort of incidental expense. Then I had dinner. The staff called me three times late at night just to get me to come down and give my credit card. It was as if I was a thief and I was going to run away in the middle of the night without paying my restaurant bill This really put me off. I was not treated as a VIP. Rather, I was treated like a thief

This is my 3rd or 4th time to stay here and my only time to have complaints. The bell hop made comments about my body size and the check out was very slow. There was no one else in line but ai had to wait. The Expedia vip upgrade was great. The room, check in and wifi were amazing. The building withstood a big earthquake without any issues. I'd recommend this hotel for tourists who want to be in a good spot to see everything.
