Historic property located on the Plaza. Lots of stairs and interesting areas in the hotel. Updated, but is not a new property. Gas fireplace in the room, microwave and a fridge. There is a restaurant in the hotel. Had music. Parking is behind the hotel.

Hotel is right in the town square - we didn’t need to use our car at all! Restaurant in hotel is new and food was amazing. Rooms are quite adequate and cleanly.

Omar at the front dest was very welcoming, and he provided good advice about parking options. Hotel LA Fonda is a historic hotel on Taos Plaza. It has much charm and is very convenient to restaurants and shopping. The room we had was small--as is true of many historic hotels--but we had all the conveniences and it was very quiet. Great stay.
