"From checkin to checkout our whole stay at the Kosta Palace Hotel was amazing. Friendly helpful staff, clean comfy rooms with great views of Kos Port. Breakfast had a lot of choose with local options. Then when the weather got to hot you could cool down with a drink and swim in the rooftop pool and bar. "

"I took my mom out on a lovely summer holiday to Astir and we’d love to be back someday! The rooms were lovely, and so were the pools, the sea water was warm which is quite a change for us. The lunch staff knew our order by heart, and everyone we spoke to provided excellent service, from reception, to the bar staff and buffet waiters, everyone was exceptionally welcoming. The food was pretty good, there’s options for everyone. We did expect there to be more fish on a regular basis, but when they did it was amazing. You’re catered for all meals if you have the all inclusive package which I’d recommend. We were pleasantly surprised with the entertainment, which we didn’t know we’d encounter! The entertainment team kept us going all day, from the water gymnastics class all the way to their shows after dinner, what a treat! They were all super lovely and made the time to speak to everyone they walked past throughout the day. The only not so positive element was the amount of children in general. I purposefully picked a hotel that didn’t seem to cater to babies and children that much but that didn’t seem to stop it being packed with families with young kids, specially around the pool entrances. "

"Exterior not as pictured. Smaller pool and kids pool is not so nice, sun beds are old and dirty. Hard to get a place at the pool as others leave their towels on it. We also think the pools are too small for such a big hotel"

"Everything was outstanding really. Not much to complain about. The food was excellent. It’s worth booking the restaurants ahead of time as they’re all so good. Just a note - it’s a pebble beach, not a sand beach so if that’s important, then worth bearing in mind"

"What a fantastic stay at Golden Sun Apartments! From booking and the great communication with George, to the food at the snack bar, and our lovely 2 bed apartment. This is the perfect location. Gorgeous pool. Nice and quiet. A very short (5mins or less) walk to the main strip. Bars and reataurants in abundance and only another few minutes walk to the beach. I'm already looking to book again! "
