Our original plans fell through and we had to book a hotel last minute. Puente Real was by far the most affordable option. We chose half pension so that we could still eat outside of the hotel and explore the area. The hotel itself has some updated and outdated areas, but overall it looked okay. It was very, very clean with friendly, helpful staff. There is no free wifi in the rooms, but we didn't miss it. The only downside for us was that the air conditioning was not working. They informed us that it is only turned on from June onwards. This led to some very warm nights, especially for our 15 month old. It would have nice to have the option. The location was okay, at the edge of Torremolinos. If you don't mind walking, you can get to the center in about half an hour. But there were also buses and taxis readily available. The food was overall not so bad. The Tex Mex and Spanish nights were better than the rest. Breakfast was the same every morning, would have been nice to have a little variety. But we only stayed 5 days so we didn't really mind. Our 15 month old really appreciated the kiddie pool and Mini Disco. The animation team was very lively and did a great job. Honestly, I didn't expect much but was pleasantly surprised.
