Do yourself a favour... Book somewhere else.
Disgusting. Everything about it. Expensive, tatty with very limited air conditioning and zero customer service.

First of all we ask you respect and of course "do not lie", how do you know how our facilities are if as I arrive we had to call the police for their insults and rudeness and of course cancel your reservation. Therefore I repeat my question as Do you know what our facilities are like?

Loved location next to beach Didn’t like fact balcony was shaded out the sun Room 1A although in hot summer would have been perfect - went in October

Basic room, good lcation for beach front.
My husband and I stayed in room 110 in September 2018. There was plenty of off road parking and the hostal was situated next to the beach front. The room had two double beds in it, a wardrobe, a fridge and a desk and bedside table. There was air conditioning and the bathroom looked like it had not long been refurbished and the shower was good. There weren't any tea/coffee facilities. I would describe the room as tired but habitable. The hostal had its own restaurant but there were plenty within a short walking distance. The wifi was good. Unexpectedly we needed to stay another night and as our room was free we were offered it at a price of approx. 35 euros. However when we came to check out the next day we were told by a different member of staff that the room was 49 euros and that the other girl had made a mistake. To be honest we would probably have one elsewhere for that price.

Avoid Hostal Alba
I arranged a pre paid booking, but on check in they asked how I was going to pay. I confirmed it was pre paid, but they said the credit card used had not worked. I paid again and contacted Hotels.com to sort out. They confirmed it was pre paid successfully and contacted the hostal Alba. They refused to discuss the matter, so I have to go through my credit card to get a refund on my second payment. While the hostal was in a great location, comfortable & clean I suggest you avoid it. The staff during this issue were also less than helpful. The address on the booking confirmation was wrong, so satnav couldn't find it. The confirmation also said tea & coffee in room, but on arrival I was told it was only if you'd booked B & B. You couldn't book B & B through hotels.com. The last thing I thought deserved a mention before I booked, was the fact there is a construction site next door. While they started at 8.30am, I realise it could have been worse but I still expected more of a lie in on holiday.

IN PRINCIPLE I WOULD LIKE TO TELL YOU, THAT IT IS NOT TRUE THAT WE WILL NOT SOLVE THE PROBLEM WITH THE CREDIT CARD, CLEAR THAT WE CONTACTED HOTELS.COM AND SOLVED EVERYTHING, IT IS NOT GOOD TO SAY THAT WE DENY TO DISCUSS THE ISSUE ABOVE ALL WHEN IT IS NOT CORRECT . UNTIL NOW NOBODY HAVE HAD PROBLEMS BECAUSE OUR ADDRESS IS NOT CORRECT AND IF SOMEONE DOES NOT FIND US BECAUSE HE DOES NOT KNOW THE AREA WE HAVE APPROACHED US TO SEEK THEM AND COLLECT THEM. THE THEME OF AMENITIES OF COFFEE IN THE ROOM DO NOT DENY IT TO ANYONE, IT IS A DETAIL ON THE PART OF THE HOSTEL SO THAT THEY ARE MORE COMFORTABLE AND HAS NO LOGIC TO DENY IT. IF IT IS TRUE THAT THERE IS A WORK NEXT AND WE HAVE SPOKEN WITH THEM ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS SO THAT THEY WILL BEGIN TO WORK LATER AND EXCEPT COUNTED DAYS ARE VERY KIND AND UNDERSTAND OUR BUSINESS, EVEN SO I ASK YOU TO APOLOGIZE BECAUSE YOU CAN GET TO DISTURB, BUT LUCKY IT'S SOMETHING TEMPORARY. I FEEL MUCH THAT YOUR STAY HAS BEEN SO DISADVANTABLE, WE DO EVERYTHING WE CAN TO ENJOY YOU, EVEN IF OBVIOUSLY IT HAS NOT BEEN YOUR CASE. A GREETING

Excellent position on nice promenade and district . Our room ( two double beds) was very basic with one wardrobe ,a table and one small bedside drawer . Toiletries are mini bottles of shower gel .A kettle is available ( apparently on request ) . The en-suite is quite new . More than two people would be a squeeze . The daily maid was excellent .The hostals own car park was a bonus .

Sin duda repetiremos.
Fenomenal, la comida muy buena, el apartamento muy acogedor, las chicas muy atentas, repetiremos sin lugar a dudas. La playa justo enfrente, sin tener que cruzar calles, agua cristalina muy limpia y playa con medidas de seguridad y distanciamiento.

Super Hotel 50 vom Strand
Wirkt von draussen etwas rustikal, mein zimmer war jedoch frisch renoviert mit neuem Bad. Super Service und nettes Personal. Wlan Empfand ging leider in meinem Zimmer nur im Bad auf der Toilette. Daher keine vollen punkte

Primera línea de playa.Excelente.
Hotel en primera línea de playa. Relación calidad precio excelente. Muy limpio y el personal muy atento .En el restaurante, con vistas al mar ,comimos un arroz muy rico.Terraza con encanto. Seguro que repetimos.
