we stayed in the wagon the first night and it was very cold all night. The heater does not warm the area at all. The next morning we asked if we could be moved to a regular room for our second night and the clerk was able to move us. Hot tub was not very clean, half of the jets were not working. Only one of four washer and dryers were working and were being used by the staff to wash towels. We ate dinner both nights at the restaurant and it was great. The rooms are out dated, clearly it is the restaurant keeping this place in business

Restaurant food was great and waitress was exceptionable. Facilities were very well decorated with the country western theme. I wish that in the laundromat on property that they had more machines working(2 out of 6) were working.

This did the trick for my family of 4 for one night. Not sure we could’ve made more than that work well. The room was very clean, except it appeared the table hadn’t been wiped. The shower had better than average water pressure for a hotel, but the towels were thin and rough - great for exfoliating my skin! The hotel does have electric vehicle charging so we were able to charge overnight. It is not free, though. We ate at the onsite restaurant and that was good! Hearty portions and good flavor. View from the room was beautiful. Bed was comfortable, but pillows were kind of hard and flat. Only one small ledge for bedside items between the beds.

Great place to stay in Torrey. Loved the western theme throughout, beautiful setting, great pool and hot tub. Great restaurant with great food. Big room, very updated. Glad we chose to stay here

Very glad I stayed here for my trip to Capitol Reef. I went to the restaurant on ribs night, and ate what might have been the best ribs I've ever had. The restaurant was packed, so service was good but not exceptional, but the food was fantastic. I also accidentally left my laptop here, and the staff had it mailed by FedEx the same day I called, perfectly cushioned by four (clean) old hotel towels. The front desk staff were super helpful in all my interactions with them. The room was very nice as well. Highly recommend.

Nice large clean room with fridge and microwave. Cowboy-themed inn. We'd stay there again Good buffet breakfast (could use some vegetables) Minor deficiencies: Faucet in the room we stayed in, room #12, needs adjustment: it sprays water onto the counter. The shower plunger doesn’t go up all the way, so not all the water comes out of the nozzle.

Only stayed one night at the Broken Spur but we really enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. My wife and I split a steak at the restaurant and they were very accommodating and the food was good. The location is convenient to the town of Torrey and to Capitol Reef National Park.

This is an older property but the room was fine with good places to put luggage and a small table and two chairs we liked and a fridge. It was not fancy but I like clean better than fancy. The staff was helpful. We didnt swim but there was a really nice warm pool and hot tub and both of them also looked very clean.

The hotel is nice and updated. There is no elevator. The restaurant has good steak and wine. We are at the far end of a building that is not attached to the main building with the office and the restaurant. The view from our room is gorgeous. But it would be nice if the internet worked in our building.

From the moment we walked in to the moment we left was superb. If we could give 11 out of 10 we would. The receptionist was superb, even let me look around a covered wagon when I expressed interest. The restaurant staff were superb and the meal and breakfast were good. The room was excellent.

Great views, great location. Stayed one night and explored Cathedral Valley. Room was to be expected... clean, with all the expected basics. It was quiet, the neighbors were respectfully quiet as well which is always nice. We dined at the steakhouse; food was good.. a little pricey... hubby got the prime rib, and it was a generous cut. Breakfast was complimentary and was decent. The pancakes were our favorite. Ease of checking in and out was a plus. Friendly staff.

The room was clean and looked recently updated. The bed was very comfortable. The shower could have been a bit better but all in all it was a great place after hiking and driving all day.

The room was very nice. The gal at the front desk was wonderful. We requested a ground level room and she was able to accommodate our needs. The hotel has it’s own restaurant which is a steakhouse. Their special of the new day was St. Louis ribs. The portions were very generous for the price and the ribs were so delicious. The meat just fell of the bone. I would highly recommend The Broken Spur. It was a great place to relax, dine, and sleep after a long day at Capitol Reef National Park.
