Views of the river and trent lock were fantastic. Sat by the river enjoying the view before we went to dinnet. -Noisy, disturbed by neighbors to the hotel (dog barking, people outside at a campfire) and guests of the hotel returning late in the evening. Not good for accessibility as the stair railings were quite wobbly even though they looked new.

Unfortunately our upstairs neighbours were very loud but that was not the fault of the motel. The location on the Trent Severn was surprisingly quaint and lovely. A nice place to sit and read a book in the evening

Smell of smoking in room.ash trays just outside every room. Paint & caulking chipped or dirty. Bathtub chipped. In general terrible condition .long weekend nothing else available.

Bedroom was fine. Coffee bar lacked sufficient creamer. Small bathroom had chipped tub, not a single towel bar & no counter space for toiletries. Pool seemed okay, but picnic/BBQ areas near the river were dilapidated with broken concrete and metal protrusions. Old, unused wooden docks were sitting on the river bank, with vines growing over them. Further renovation is clearly needed.

Be careful when booking. This is a Motel not an Inn and the price is too high for a Motel. There are hidden fees when you check out.

The memory foam bed was the most comfortable bed we have ever slept on. The owners go out of their way to make your feel comfortable and offered places of interest that we visited. It was an easy walk to all of the shops and restaurants in Campbellford, and the property was well cared for and picturesque on the river. We felt really at home.

The staff was friendly and helpful, and the beds were comfortable. This was the only real upside to staying here — for the cost, I was shocked by the state of the room. Old key locks and my door handle had duct tape wrapped around it. Rickety stairs to get to our room (very inaccessible) and there was a shopping cart (1) parked outside our room filled with cleaning supplies. Obviously, there had been renovations and some updates, but the cost-cutting was obvious. Room had two stacks of old dining chairs too (didn't match) — just not what I expected for almost $300 a night. Didn't feel very clean either. There were dead bugs on the bathroom floor, microwave was very old, and one of the shelves in the minifridge was broken. And no coffee maker (although when I asked, she did get me one).

The room itself is plain but it faces a river which was a nice surprise. We also got to plug in our hybrid car throughput the night at no extra cost which was convenient. The room was clean.

We enjoyed our first hotel stay with our 8 month old so much. The property had beautiful views and lots to do in the surrounding area. We will be back!

We stayed one night, a family of four with an infant. The room was very small and the motel is older and outdated. Not worth the rate we paid but we needed a place to stay. Check in was great, the staff member in the front office was super friendly and helpful. Location was prime.

Oh my. Where to begin? First, the staff here are very helpful and friendly and the facilities were clean. But, the Inn is basically a roadside motel. The rooms are OLD. Not just 1980's old, but 1960's old. The latch on the door was broken and there was only deadbolt. The balcony stretches the length of the second story, so there is no privacy between rooms. The men in the rooms next to me decided to camp out right outside my window and smoke and drink and talk loudly until the wee hours of the morning. It is not safe. Finally, this motel charged $192 for the pleasure of staying the night. I feel badly for the owners because they seem very nice, but there is no way that room should cost more than $75. Run away, people. Run away.

Friendly and helpful owners, great view of the river, good places to eat in the community and beautiful surrounding countryside. I did find the bed extremely uncomfortable as it was too hard for my aging back. The sound proofing left a little to be desired but not terrible. Generally the building is in need of repair and upgrading. In many ways I did enjoy my stay but I would not come back again.

Overall, the owners and facility were fine. However, due to circumstances beyond us and the managers, we had to cancel our 2nd night. They were very gracious and understanding, even taking a partial loss on their end to ensure that the customer was satisfied. If we play at the Marmora Rock and Roll Festival again next year, we will surely call upon the Campbell River Inn!

Had an amazing time in the romantic suite, it was super clean and very comfortable, loved the jacuzzi and air conditioning, the bed is so cozy too :) The property is extremely clean and organized, it was so nice being along side the river, and in walking distance from the 42 North pub, highly recommend stopping in there for a tower of onion rings if you stay at this inn !

a couple of co workwes and i needed a place to catch some sleep. it was a last minute stay over. we booked and checked in around 11pm. and headed straight back to work. I was charged $25 for a 3 person in the room, which was only used for 5 hours. But to top it off There was absolutely no heat in the room.

The room is heated by baseboard heaters and in the summer its window a/c. The room was clean overall although there was not much soundproofing and I could hear everything from the room above me. The last day was good as there was no one above me but I would not return unless it was my last resort.
