"We had an excellent week at Villa Aquamarie. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed. The small touches of cheese and ham on arrival and then the complimentary cakes which ‘appeared’ in the fridge were lovely. Thank you. Ana was very easy to communicate with and was easy to arrange a transfer through. She even came to say goodbye to us. My only one small comment would be the bed which creaked a lot every time you moved on it. This does need fixing. Otherwise all perfect. Close...

"I booked a studio apartment for 2 nights in June and was very impressed - there was plenty of space for 2 people, all the amenities you could possibly want (even a laundry rack, cooking facilities and cutlery) and everything was very clean and well-maintained. The location is beautiful and very well-situated for access to both plenty of beaches and the city of Trogir, without feeling busy or tourist-y. The owners themselves are lovely and did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable."

We were also lead to believe that it was in walking distance of various restaurants but there was nothing - the nearby hotel had a beach bar/restaurant but that closed for the season during our stay (in September?). Views over a building site! The photos on the Villa's website include several that are actually of the mentioned hotel, not Villa Nico and it's own facilities."

"We were made to feel really welcome by all the Staff. The Hotel was spotless. We ate in the Hotel a number of times and the Food was excellent. The Pizzas are a must. At Breakfast the choice was amazing. We enjoyed this Hotel so much we are going back next year. I would highly recommend the Hotel Trogirski Dvori. "

"We had a lovely five-night stay in this hotel in early September. The hotel staff were friendly and courteous throughout. A member of staff called to check on us, as our flight was a little delayed, and, later, they let us borrow some beach towels. The room was comfortable, clean and air conditioned, with a good shower. Window shutters and curtains allowed for a quiet and dark sleep with little distubance. We got a plentiful breakfast buffet each morning, included in the price. The hotel is a very short walk from the Trogir bus depot, so easy to reach by bus from Split airport (37 bus, runs into late evening, and costs about €2). The hotel is located in the midst of the old town of Trogir, an attractive warren of narrow, cobbled streets. All parts of Trogir island can be easily reached on foot. There are lots of restaurants nearby (most relatively similar in their menu, but all of decent standard, with good seafood). Expect to pay €30-50 per person for dinner with a glass of wine. For a cheaper option, there is a market just outside the Trogir walls with copious food, sandwiches, etc. Walking to the promenade, one can take a quick taxi boat to the beach on Okrug, for €5 per person. There you can swim and do a range of water-based activities. The beach is pebbled rather than sandy, so consider some swim shoes or hiring a recliner for €10 each. Or sit in one of the open air cafes overlooking the beach. Altogether a lovely stay and a lovely hotel."

"Lovely little hotels like this are hard to find & when you do, they’re real gems. We have just enjoyed a 2 night stay at this great hotel. It was nice to receive a welcoming email a few days before we arrived, confirming details of our stay & offering complimentary breakfast. All the staff were very welcoming & friendly. The rooms are basic but very clean and I had the best night sleep on the comfortable bed ~ if you like a firm mattress. Our room had a fridge. Good buffet style breakfast with a wide choice to suit everyone. We ate in the resturant one evening & the menu offered a wide choice. The food was good, especially the fresh seafood. You do need to book as the resturant is popular. We would certainly recommend staying here & we wished we had booked to stay longer. It’s an ideal place to stay when arriving at Split airport as we did - just an easy 15 minute drive & easy to find with plenty of free parking. One thing to be aware of - there are two flights of steps to get to reception, with a further 2 flights of stairs to get to each of the two floors. Not easy with heavy luggage, although the man on reception did help us. But do be aware if you have mobility issues. We were sad to leave after just two nights but hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did. "
