"Nigel and Amanda were perfect hosts and Villa Bergamotto is quite something indeed. We didn’t meet them but were greeted by a lovely local English speaking lady. All communication with Amanda was excellent and we cannot complain about anything at all during our one week stay. We would advise anyone to utilise their recommendations - all were amazing (beaches, restaurants etc..) and absolutely made our Calabrese experience so wonderful. "We had a wonderful stay at the Marasusa complex in Parghelia. We found the apartment a little ‘tired’ and under equipped - a small saucepan, garlic press, larger dinner plates and better cutlery knives would help. The towels provided were clean but seemed very old and the pillows should have had pillow protectors on them.
