"THIS IS A LITTLE GEM OF A PLACE, ITS GOT EVERYTHING YOU NEED LOADS OF ROOMS AND WELL EQUIPTED KITCHEN, WE ARRIVED IN A VAN WITH A MOTOBIKE ON THE TRAILER, THE ACCESS IS ON A DIRT TRACK TO THE HOUSE WHICH IS TIGHT, BUT ONCE PARKED UP THE BIKE WAS MODE OF TRANSPORT NO ISSUES, THE AREA IS STUNNING THERE ARE 2 HOUSES BEING BUILT TO THE REAR, BUT NO WORK WAS CARRIED OUT WHILE WE WAS THERE. ITS A GREAT PLACE TO EXPLORE FROM THANK YOU"

"Wunderschöne Lage mit traumhafter Aussicht. Gemütlich eingerichteter Wohnraum. Die Ausstattung der Betten dürfte verbessert werden: unterschiedlich große, teilweise zu kurze bzw. zu breite Bettdecken. Kopfkissen sollten gereinigt werden. Im Doppelzimmer gab es eine äußerst dünne "Matratze". Ausleuchtung des Wegs zum unteren nur von außen zugänglichen Zimmer fehlte."

"Very spacious, nice and clean property. We were a family group of 13 with 7 children and it was quite comfortable for us. We used 4 spacious bedrooms and there was a large loft as well with 10 single mattresses which we didn't use. You have to drive 12km up in the mountains on a very well maintained bandy road with beautiful views and through few tunnels. Good location with beautiful views, very spacious lounge and dining area and a well equipped kitchen with everything you need. 2 separate...

"Very cool little chalet/cabin in La Sage (Evolene). Best for 2 people max. and despite the size, having 2 floors to spread is decent. The outdoor balcony/deck facing the mountain...esp with the great weather makes in a gem. Plenty of hiking right around the village too. Will rent the larger one next time, if available"

"Great Bear is a lovely chalet with breathtaking views in a unique environment. I cannot think of a better summer escape, given the stunning surroundings of the Val Hérens, the local cuisine, produce, meat products, and delicious wines. The chalet fits the rustic character of the tiny village perfectly, while affording the necessary comforts for an Alpine stay. Absolutely LOVED IT!!!"

"The chalet is very nice and typical for the neighbourhood. Everything you need is in there. There is a very nice view, we really enjoyed the terace for breakfast and diner. In between we explored the land of St. Bernhard. Terence sent us a very good explanation by forhand about everything and housekeeper Nicole was also very quick with her respons (we had one question)."

"A new chalet, all in wood with high quality finish. Well arranged spaces, with nearly all rooms looking over the Rhone valley. Well kitted out. Chalet owner very responsive, though not living nearby."

"The house was very cozey, and convenient location. However the communication between the hostes and I were poor. As I was only told as that we need to bring our own towels and linen for bedding after we had arrive and I asked where it was!!! Very inconvenient trying to find these items in a small town, let alone after 7pm also!! Other then that, it's a lovely place to stay!!"

"It was amazing stay in Zermatt !! Location was perfect to see the Matterhorn and go skiing. There’s no other option for us. Rooms are spacious , clean , enough of spaces to put our clothes, and great kitchen (although without microwave). We also enjoyed fire the stove! "

"Aucun accueil à l'arrivée. Appartement sombre, surface minimaliste. Linge de maison succinct et produits ménagers absents. Aucune possibilité d'aspirer le sol en moquette. Bien pour un court séjour, non adapté pour 3 semaines.Toiles d'araignées sur les volets extérieurs et porte d'entrée. Intérieur correct. Matériel de cuisine et salle de bain vieillot. Parking à 10 minutes à pied et interdit de 24h à 5h. Heureusement les circonstances ont fait que nous avons pu profiter exceptionnellement de...

"We stayed at this chalet with 10 guys and had an amazing time. The views are great driving can be a bit challenging, climbing the mountain but we are happy that we had a car as this small town had only very few stores. The house is nice and clean but not big. I think overall you will have a great experience!!"
