"Absolutely amazing. Dead-center of everything you'll want to see and do in Valparaiso. If you can, get a room with the terrace view, which provides direct access to the stairs to the roof and its stunning 360 degree views. The couple that runs this place are just lovely and very knowledgeable of the surrounding area. Our only complaint was the lack of a mini-fridge in the room. A lot of the restaurants in the area served huge portions, and we had nowhere to put the leftovers."

"Very cozy hostel. Location is really good. It’s safe. And has great kitchen area for cooking your own food. Also has a bar available. "Nice hostel, very clean, and I like the emphasis on sustainability. The folks running the hostel were very nice and keen to help out at all times. The location on Avenida Brasil was fine, about a 15 minute walk to Cerro Concepcion/Cerro Alegre (where you'll probably spend most of your time) - that said, there are several other options that are located closer to that area. Simple breakfast of toast and fruits was included."

The complimentary breakfast is sumptuous. The beds are very comfortable and entire facility is very clean and well maintained. Only thing they should add to their description is the location being next to the ascensor Concepcion. It is a great way to go up and down the hills, especially with luggage. First day, not knowing it, we used the stairs and uphill slopes to reach the hotel from the bus stop. "
