"Very good value for the money. The receptionist was extremely helpful and showed us a secure spot for our van under video surveillance. There was quite a strong odour from the hallway carpets, but the room, though small, was clean and comfortable. The location was excellent, just a few minutes walk into centre ville. I would stay here again if in Le Puy. "

"The rooms on the 1st floor were nice, better than other floors, and the breakfast was also good. Location good, with a municipal carpark opposite. However, the hotel room doors (heavy firedoors, of course) do not have silent closing on them, and the noise when everyone was going to bed, and getting up in the morning, was terrible! Impossible to sleep. Then in the morning they had no hot water anywhere in the hotel. We complained from 7.45am onwards, they gave us keys to other rooms, but...

"We went there as an alternative to staying in an ibis , the renovation of this chateau was great, although the rooms are hot no air conditioning or fans provided, we asked about dinner and they said yes but the meals were limited and we’re heated by a micro wave , the staff tried hard and we’re pleasant , when we got there the door was locked (after 4.00pm) and took a while to get in touch with them. "

"Our 2nd visit didn't disappoint. We stayed in a lovely room above the restaurant which was spacious, well appointed and with a large window with Juliet balcony. The room had 2 easy chairs to sit by the open window and look over the garden and river. Breakfast is extensive in a lovely room overlooking the river.
