"What a beautiful valley on the fjord! The cabin has a fantastic view out over Ortnevik to the Sognefjord. It really is stunning. We went on a couple of short hikes around the valley and totally enjoyed them. The cabin itself is comfortable with all the facilities you will need. There is a small store in Ortnevik where you can get groceries but be aware that it has limited opening hours so check with the host. "It was very nice to have an apartment in such a beautiful well maintained old house. We enjoyed the tranquility. The view from the balcony on the fjord was fantastic. Likewise from the 'towerroom'. Balestrand is a good base for excursions in the area, walks and visits to museums. The owners are friendly and helpful. We had a very pleasant stay. Ingrid"
