Room facilities are in perfect condition, bath room facility like new and perfect shower, washbasin and toilet, sufficient number towels provided with other toiletry product. Generally facility decorated reasonable quality, fresh like quality. TV size is small, it is two single beds, no plug socket near the bedside etc are little needy. Breakfast was provided good taste, fresh and perfect clean. Reception staff helpful. Hotel location is the perfect location to go anywhere in Vienna, well connected with local transport. Opposite side burger restaurant food was great.

Every feature was up to date and working perfectly such as the elevators, the bathroom water faucets and temperature even the television. The help came to clean the room everyday which was very good. The front desk help was young, very co-operative and ready to assist. The property deserves a 10.

Location not bad but could be better for $$$
Hotel was clean, quiet and well maintained. Location was about a 20 minute walk to the Opernring (where the attractions really start). We were there during a cold week so the walk seemed a little unnecessary. Service was good, breakfast was excellent. There is a good market right next door but the hotel itself has no food or drink options after the breakfast ends at 10:00am. So if you get thirsty or hungry plan on a walk of at least five minutes and probably more like ten. No microwave or fridge in the rooms.

The atmosphere isn't great. There is nothing nearby once the store next door closes or on Sunday. Noisy if your room has street-side windows. Feels like a hospital, which is was many years ago.

Bed issue but otherwise GREAT!
Hotel is partially a student dorm, but this posed no issues. The breakfast was ample and tasty and the staff was attentive. My room had 2 twin beds, thankfully as on was missing 2 slats and gave in when I sat down. The other bed was fine and my stay went on without issue. Hotel allowed me to drop off bags before check in and even leave them after check out as I had a late flight. Would recommend!

Excellent! Room was clean, good shower, comfortable bed, clean sheets. Breakfast I thought wasVERY good. Bacon, eggs, fruit, cheeses, good cappuccino, juice and lots more. Good value great location!!

Ok for short stopovers, Room was fine and staff very helpful. Breakfast wasn’t amazing so went elsewhere, lots of choice and only 15 minute walk to michaelerplatz and short walk to U-Bahn so easy to get anywhere in Vienna.

Located just a 10 minutes walk from the historic city centre, near to the Opera House, in what is an upcoming area, including gay bars and clubs, plus a nearby street market and restaurants. The hotel is part hotel and part student residences. The room was large, the shower excellent, and with breakfast buffet included it was very reasonably priced. There were two large wardrobes and plenty of shelves. The room also contained a safe. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended, we stayed for 5 nights and will certainly stay again when we next visit Vienna.

Perfect stay
The room was quite spacious with almost eveything you need for no frills trip. The only addition would be mini fridge. Breakfast was with good choice of food and good quality and taste. The hotel situated very convenient -just minutess walk to subway, grocery store and just 1 km from city centre

Didn't realise that for the hotel aspect you are still staying in student dorms. The pictures of the rooms look much better than the actual rooms. Room was mostly clean and spacious but the heating in the room barely worked. I was told this was an issue with some other rooms and couldn't be seen to until the Monday so my time in the room was rather cold, especially since housekeeping kept the window open upon me checking in and with little heating it took a couple of days for the room to warm up even slightly. The hotel is like a maze, some better signage would help. Breakfast was not good. One of the reasons I booked this hotel was because of the gluten free and vegan/dairy free options. However, the gluten free bread not good (in this day there's no excuse for bad gf bread). The gf cereal contained milk. They did have almond milk and vegan butter but limited choices if you have dairy and gluten restrictions or if you're vegan. WiFi was really really poor. No plug in bathroom and no mirror else where. Bed was uncomfortable and hard. The only plus was that it's a good location but expensive and poor value for a "budget" hotel.

Very good choice for staying in Vienna
Our stay at the Kolpinghaus was very pleasant indeed. The facilities are good and kept clean. All staff was really helpful and friendly and we would come and stay here again. A tasty and appetising breakfast is served too. Simply an overall positive experience!

Finding of this hotel and booking it was one od the best decissions during our visit to Vienna. The location is perfect, the pure centre, everything is near you. The staff was very helpful, polite and friendly and the room was clean with comfortable beds. Served from 6:30 till 10 the breakfast was just marvelous, so delicious. Many sweet and salty options.
