I liked this was a short walk from the Spring Hill station. It's a bit of a commute to get downtown. But you are somewhat close to Dulles if you plan to visit the Air and Space Museum there. Food options were alright, a bit of a walk to get to nearby Walmart. There are more food options at the next stop Greensboro. I also like the microwave and fridge. And the price was one of the cheapest for that type of room (and breakfast options- which included sausage and egg). The really bad part was the shower design. It's a giant standing only shower where the curtain is merely for decoration. There isn't much of a lip at the bottom of the shower, so you have to aim the shower to the left away from the curtain, otherwise you're getting it on the floor. I figured that out quickly the first day.

Pros: Convenient transportation, less than a 10-minute walk from the Washington Metro station. Cons: The facilities are very old, seems to have not been renovated for many years.

Not clean, Doors to rooms barely close and dont seal can see light around all edges. Bed sheeting had cigarette burns and stains. Towels were stained and dirty. Don’t recommend this place.

Didn’t expect luxury but I expected the property to at least be well kept and the room they initially gave me had been left a mass. Grounds had litter about and the surrounding area in the back just feels a bit sketchy. This should be asking a lot less per night.

The microwave didn’t work, although the next day, a new one was provided. There is only maid serve for reservations longer than a week, so the room and bath aren’t cleaned daily. Concierge told me the nearest pharmacy is a 1/2 hour walk away. Not true. 7 minute walk to Walmart, which has everything including a pharmacy. I discovered this on day 2. Location is near Metro which is good.

I just stayed here 1night. Area is very safe, calm, close the metro station, there are Walmart and some restaurants near here. Room was clean, including breakfast. The lady works at breakast area was very kind. She helped me to make my waffle :)

Booked a double bed room, got a single queen size room. The room is at building 2, very far away to the front desk, with luugage brought to the third floor already, we wete so tired to be back to the front desk make room change. Beside two persons on one small queen size bed, we Cannot sleep well at all due to a couple of guests right under the third floor were arguing loudly the whole night. Bad experience and reallly Need a refund!

My wife & I felt very unsafe. Cars driving by all night with bass speakers blasting. Trash on the ground. The lights in the room were broken. The furniture in the room was falling apart.

Decent, inexpensive but safe…. give them a try.
I’ve stayed here before….convenient, clean. Breakfast is ALWAYS the same, same items every morning. The new shampoo and conditioner dispensers mounted in the shower were a mystery as to how they worked, so couldn’t use them. The hair dryer didn’t work and I told the front desk to look into it while I was out during the day and it appears no one bothered as the dryer still wasn’t working when I arrived later in the day. It turned out to be the GFCI outlet needed resetting.

This was fine for the price (under $100), nothing better or worse than expected. Some simple things would make it better: 1) lace curtains - as is, there is not privacy unless you close the light-blocking curtains 2) a less sour attitude at the reception desk 3) take-out coffee in lobby and b'fast in a bag for those who miss the 9:30am closing - come on, it can't be that hard.

Okay, but carpets are filthy
A couple tips to those checking in: make sure you check in after the check in time. Apparently if you come early, only certain rooms show as available. I was a bit early and didn't like the first room assigned (it felt unsafe hidden behind an elevator), but after the check in time, they were able to reassign me to a better room. Also, make sure to bring slippers or wear socks, as the carpets are FILTHY. I wore my socks around the room, and they turned black with so much dirt. The carpets could use a shampoo.
