Great Boutique Resort
The Eritage is a lovely, small boutique resort with beautiful vineyard views and a small lake that our bungalow overlooked. The staff were great, the stand alone bungalow was very well appointed, and the free breakfast was an added bonus. We would definitely stay there again.

This property is so relaxing. Bungalows are clean and private. Morning runs and bike rides in the vineyard start the day off right! Clean salt water pool is perfect in the dry Walla Walla heat. Staff are friendly and professional! Restaurant is reliably good. We’ll be back next year!

Beautiful property! We spent two nights for a belated honeymoon, and enjoyed the beautiful room, relaxing atmosphere, quiet area and especially the salt water pool. We'll definitely be back!

We loved our stay at the Eritage! The pet friendly bungalow we stayed in met all of our expectations and more! They provided a dog bed, bags and a sheet for her. Breakfast was delicious and complimentary. The views from the balcony and property were stunning and peaceful. We can’t wait to go back!

Gorgeous boutique hotel and bungalows! We were there on a Sunday off season and had the place to ourselves. Friendly staff, quiet and peaceful location. Very comfortable!!

Overall we had a beautiful spacious room for a reasonable price. The grounds are beautiful and the restaurant is one of the best in Walla Walla. We had one very minor suggestion to add some lighting, for dark mornings, near the coffee stand.

I can’t believe this has a 3.5 star rating. I have stayed in 5 star resorts not as nice as Eritage. Plus amazing food.

Beautiful rooms, nice linens, super clean. Serene setting, great restaurant, friendly staff. Breakfast didn't meet my standards given the cost of the stay (decent quantity of options, but low quality, and not kept warm or properly stocked). Not a big deal, but plan on going into town instead :).

Relaxing and lovely stay. The staff were friendly but don’t expect full service. We had to hunt down anyone to serve drinks at the pool or in the evening after dinner.

A peaceful place to unwind
This was a beautiful peaceful place to stay. Rooms are great with wonderful views. Fun touches like bocce ball and bikes were nice. The pool is nice too. The restaurant was delicious and the service everywhere was perfect. Suggestion: you need to take food and drinks with you as there is not any thing available until after 5:00pm when the restaurant opens so drinks by the pool or while relaxing after a hike or just sitting taking in the views is not an option. Also, the restaurant is closed on Sundays we didn't know that in advanceso had to drive to town to get a meal. I think the resort would profit if they offered food and beverage all day and evening.

I’ll give you the TL;DR upfront - it’s not worth the price. Extensive review below. We were really apprehensive about our stay because of the mixed reviews. After staying there, we were right to be concerned. I think that the property is beautiful and unique, rooms are well appointed but they are severely lacking in hospitality and attention to detail. We stayed in a lakeside bungalow for $400/night (inc taxes) and I was definitely expecting more. Also, I would recommend you plan to spend a full day enjoying the resort (and not leaving for other activities) as we did. If you don’t make use of the property you might as well stay somewhere else for a lot less. First, the pre-stay communication was terrible. I called on 2 occasions and talked to a person immediately. Then, closer to our stay, we called upwards of 10 times before reaching a live person. We left messages that were never returned. I also emailed about a month before our stay and didn’t receive an answer for well over a week. When I did receive a response, it was 2 different responses with different answers to my questions. Very perplexing. The room was nice. However, there was a loud vibrating noise that came and went throughout the night that woke us up. I mentioned it upon checking out and all they said was ‘weird’. The room includes breakfast and I have to say, it was one of the worst breakfasts I’ve ever had. The pastries tasted like they were made last year. The staff did not welcome us when we came in

It's a unique property -- very isolated, beautiful vineyards. The restaurant is amazing. We had a wonderful dinner. The 1st room they gave us had a gigantic a/c unit right outside. They moved us to another, less-expensive room on the "lake". That room had a non-functioning window, an incomprehensible thermostat (we couldn't even get the fan to work) and a completely useless Nespresso machine (tried 3 times, got zilch). At checkout, the rate had not been adjusted. I mentioned it and she looked surprised and changed it. We had really hoped for a feeling of luxury and being pampered. Nope. It was stressful. And you CAN get a massage, after you contact a massage therapist and make an appointment. I wouldn't recommend this hotel. It's very expensive but does not have anything that makes that expense justified. Our stay was May 18th.

Great hotel!
The hotel and restaurant were great. Beautiful, peaceful location and super helpful staff. Dinner was amazing (steelhead is a MUST) and ambiance was perfect. The only downside was breakfast- due to COVID they were distributing pre-made breakfast bags to go. It was a pretty sad combo of hard boiled egg and pre-selected pastry. You’ll definitely want breakfast offsite until they reopen for breakfast.

Everything was great, delicious meals with outstanding service, very clean room, luxurious towels and super comfortable bed. Excellent across the board thanks to Greg and Nancy and their team during challenging weather conditions. So challenging, we almost did not make it to the resort because of all the snow!

Underwhelmed
While we were overly excited about our upcoming stay, we left feeling overwhelmed by the experience. I understand that due to COVID-19, things have changed, but overall I do not think the price of a night's stay is worth it at this hotel. You will likely not have cell service due to the location of the resort, which makes it challenging to leave via uber/Lyft. I was told by the receptionist that there aren't any taxis in the area. There is only one restaurant on the property, which remained closed for the latter portion of our stay. We were grateful to get on the restaurant's waitlist the second night of our visit, but the food was disappointing. My husband ordered the tomahawk steak for $120, it was not cooked to his request and had to be sent back (which we hate doing). The second steak was completely undercooked, and we finally just gave up and took it "to-go." Mind you, there are no mini-fridges in the room, and the steak went to waste. Overall, the drinks were great, and the ambiance was nice, but the overall experience was ruined by $120 going down the drain. The property is beautiful, and I hope they can continue enhancing their service to get the hotel where it needs to be. Maybe we will give the place another try in a few years?

Exquisite property
Absolutely exquisite property with a wonderful manmade lake to cool off in -- included kayaks and paddle boards were such a treat! It's also only 10 min to downtown Walla Walla, which was perfect. The outdoor fireplaces, all the finishes in the guest rooms, and every tiny touch was well thought through. Everyone was so nice and friendly to us and super helpful. Even the included breakfast was wonderful. The one challenge we had were some bugs -- likely because we were in a lakefront room, and I didn't take time to ask about that -- but otherwise top notch.

Nice, relaxing stay
My husband and I came here to relax for a couple days. The room was perfectly, the bed was so comfortable and the tub was a great soaking tub. They serve Nespresso Coffee which was a treat. All the staff was very warm, yet professional and was very thoughtful for our needs. They allowed us to stay later which we appreciated. Breakfast was fresh fruit and granola, and scones and they prepared some scrambled eggs which were done perfectly. We'll definitely be back!

Only high end property that can handle 7 people. No bellman or rolling luggage carrier to take cloths in. No umbrella in room. Shortest way into Walla Walla starts out on primitive road for 1 1/2 miles.

Very clean and modern hotel near wheat and vineyard fields. Beautiful architecture. About 15 minutes to downtown and some vineyards. Overall great experience. Enjoyed the meals and service. Would love it if they had an on-site gym.
