Beware of thin walls!!!! But other than that, can honestly say they hotel staff and the hotel itself were truly nice. My husband and I loved the convenience of the location. The hotel is well kept and without the noise, it would have been an extremely comfortable stay. We simply had the misfortune of having a loud party (literally a party) next door that went on until after 3am. While we did put a call to the front desk and they promptly came to knock on our neighbor's door, the walls are so thin, noise inevitable filters through. We opted to change rooms the next day and the staff was accommodating to our request. Later that night, in our new room, we could hear our other neighbors getting intimate lol. So, definitely keep in mind to be courteous with your noise level at this hotel (unless you want others to hear your business), and/or be aware that it might get noisy at night. If that's the case, don't wait like us and try to move rooms as soon as possible, because everything else about the hotel was great.

The property was in a great location for all of the iconic attractions in downtown Washington. The breakfast was great we ate there everyday. Only problem was the air conditioning and heating did not work properly. We could not set the temperature in the room it was either too warm or too cool.

On the website it states that there is parking and valet parking but when we got to there only valet parking was available for $56 nightly plus tax. I shared with the front desk that this is misleading and he stated that he couldn’t do anything because I booked with Expedia. It was frustrating. I puck this hotel because I was lead to believe I could park my car without a fee.

This is an excellent location, right across the street from the Metro station and close proximity to all D.C. has to offer. Amazing staff, as well as a nice clean room and onsite bar and restaurant. You can Valet park or use the parking garage. This will be our go to hotel when staying downtown.

We reserved a junior suite with 1 king bed and 1 sofa bed. We purposefully got a junior suite because we were traveling with a toddler and 5 month old infant. The room we were given was a queen bed suite with a sofa bed. They informed us the “king bed is the sofa bed” when I informed them that we needed a king bed so the toddler can sleep with us. The “crib” we reserved wasn't in our room as requested and it was a small pack and play. We had no additional blankets, pillows or sheets for the sofa bed. Location of hotel is extremely loud with banging drums, sirens and traffic. Heard over our two sound machines at night. The only good thing about our room was the updated bathroom. Will never stay here again.

Communication with the hotel was not good either before or after our stay. We were traveling as a family and, despite two previous attempts, it was not possible to get clear or consistent answers about whether our rooms could be adjoining until we were actually at the hotel on the first day of our stay. Only then were we told that the type of rooms we booked could not, in fact, adjoin. Not only that, they said that the rooms couldn't even be on the same floor. Both were important pieces of information that we could have used during either of our previous direct, phone conversations with hotel staff. Once we found out that the rooms could not adjoin, we ended up changing one of the rooms to a smaller room (which was fine) so that we could at least be on the same floor. It's been a week since we checked out and I have yet to see a receipt from our hotel stay, so I have no idea whether I was charged for the larger room or not, or anything else. In all, really poor communication.

Not the visit we expected, but OK. First, we got stuck in the elevator in the 11th floor because we were not told we had to use our room key to operate it. This caused us to panic and we waited until someone brought it down. Please do better informing your guests and place signage in the elevators explaining this. Also, we had neither shampoo or conditioner in our shower. Not the worst issue, but please fill up the containers for the next guests. The waitress in the restaurant was rather odd and didn’t understand why we wanted to order appetizers or an alcoholic beverage with our meal. We went elsewhere because it was so odd and she didn’t really seem to get it. Not the worst, but not the best experience.

The location is great, with lots to do and see around the hotel. The hotel staff could be friendlier, and more helpful and, if the hotel states that there will be daily clean-ups, then there should be daily clean-ups. Also, car parking was very expensive when compared to other DC overnight parking rates. We stayed at the same hotel a while back and had fond memories of it. After this stay, I don't believe we would likely stay there again in the future.

Right across from the metro station which made it easy to get to and from the airport. Close to the White House and other attractions. Great restaurants nearby. Pool was super small and cold, but didn’t stop us from using.

Location was great for walking to the tourist sites. Not so good was the noise level from the street. We were on the second floor, street side. A lot of the noise came right through the windows that didn’t seem sealed well as we could feel cold air coming in. I would suggest a room higher up on the back side of the building if street noises bother you or you are a light sleeper. Also our neighbors in the room next door were quite loud past 11pm at night. At first the room seemed clean until I had to look for an AirPod which I was using to block out the noises and took out during the night. Upon looking for it found Pop Corner chips at the head of the mattress and the box spring. I’m pretty sure that should have been noticed when the bedding was changed. Overall it’s an “ok” hotel but for the price I would have expected more.

This property was not in great condition. Our shower pressure was so high (and not adjustable) that it was painful, the housekeeping service was disorganized, our keycards never worked more than once forcing us to visit the front desk multiple times per day, and the elevators were in and out of service our entire stay so we mainly used the stairs. The worst part is the staff was less than friendly and helpful, with the exception of the wonderful Housekeeping Manager. We were also disappointed to see the pool was very small and not inviting. Sorry to say this hotel could use an all-around upgrade.
