We really enjoyed this beauty of the architecture and the location. The staff was great, and the water pressure in the shower was impressive. The only thing I would say could improve is the beds are extremely flat and the pillows provide no neck support. The beds could improve - either they need way more pillows or different pillows that are a bit firmer and maybe a pillow you can use to sit up in bed as an option.

I had such a good time at Riu Plaza Chicago. The rooms were super clean and comfortable.
The location was amazing and almost every landmark in downtown Chicago was in walking distance. The staff were so nice, friendly and helpful.
Their food was not my favorite but it was nice to have a buffet breakfast before heading out. The rooftop restaurant and bar had an amazing view and if you like sipping few drinks while you’re enjoying the downtown landscapes you should try it. The only thing that I would to mention is the housekeeping staff was sometimes too loud around the check-in time, talking loudly and slamming the doors. I understand they have to rush to make the rooms clean and ready for the next guest, but if you’re trying to take a nap or have a meeting it’s a little bit disturbing.
I will definitely be back on my next trip to Chicago.
