Europarcs is a lovely place that has a lot of potential. Unfortunately, they're not living up to their full potential. We arrived at our tiny house, which was dirty, there was dirt, dust, and hair underneath the table and in corners, as well as MOLD behind the toilet and downstairs beds. There was no toilet paper in the bathroom, no towels, plenty of dishes in the kitchen with no paper towels, no dishwashing liquid, and all the dishes were put away in the cabinet, dirty. We went to the office and the staff was amiable and accommodating. They explained that towels were an additional cost. I have never heard of this, nor was there an option to "pay extra" upon booking. They gave us towels for "free" a roll of toilet paper and a super tiny bottle of dishwashing liquid so we could wash all the half-washed dishes. I am a writer and I rely on Wi-Fi to complete my work. I was told that there was a problem with the Wi-Fi in my house, but I could use the service from a nearby house. The first night, the Wi-Fi didn't work from either of those houses, so I missed out on an assignment that went past the deadline. When the Wi-Fi did start working from the other house (it never worked in mine throughout the entire 10 days), it was very intermittent and unreliable. ALSO, IT WAS NEVER MADE CLEAR THAT YOU CAN LEAVE THE PARK ANYTIME, BUT IF YOU RETURN AFTER 11 PM, YOU ARE LOCKED OUT AND MUST PARK SOMEWHERE OUTSIDE THE GATE AND WALK QUITE A WAYS IN THE RAIN BACK TO YOUR ACCOMMODATIONS!

Yes, this place is unique in a few ways. Unique and different from a North American perspective perhaps. From the Expedia/Website images its uniqueness was what drew us to the property in the first place. From the homes design (interior and exterior) to the amenities and layout of the accommodation site. We definitely enjoyed our stay here despite the distance from central Amsterdam and sites. A little advice for upcoming travellers, (of course do a bit of homework) you require a vehicle if you are to stay here and see the sites of Amsterdam. We rented a vehicle and and parked close to a bus/transit facility to get to where we needed to go. Yes, get here (if possible) within the time laid out on their website. If I where to have a minor complaint, which I am sure you have already read past guest comments, it is a challenge when arriving late and/or in the dark. This if anything is where guest satisfaction/needs to be met or improved upon. Oh yeah, bring your own bath towels, shampoo and bath soap.

Very nice, quite and lovely place to relax. The whole family had a great time. The only issue was the existence of mosquitoes and spiders.

Beautiful property, however the overall experience poor. There are no towels, toilet paper, dishwash liquid and cloths, dustin etc. We a family of 4 with 2 cars, only 1 car allowed to enter with other car to be parked outside the park. No entry or exit after 11pm at night - not ideal in case of emergencies. Blocked toilet, reported - no assistance. Overall not recommended accomodation as not a pleasant holiday experience.

Nice place but dirty and nothing open
We arrived after the office was closed but using the dropbox to get our key was quick and easy. The location was nice and the area was quiet. Perfect for a restful weekend. The curtains of the chalet had been left open all day and the windows closed. It was sweltering inside and no airco or fans. Needless to say, a very uncomfortable night. The drains in the bathroom smelt disgusting but due to security reasons, you couldn't leave the window open when you weren't there. The floors were filthy and full of crumbs which meant that the ants were having a great time. My car was even covered in ants the next morning. The blind over the kitchen window was disgusting with dirt, grease and dead flies in the roller. One wardrobe door was very hard to open and close. The track at the bottom was very dirty so that might have stopped the door from sliding easily. Nothing was open except the outdoor pool which also needed a clean. No restaurants, snackbar, shop, indoor pool - nothing. But they don't tell you that when you book. The grass needed cutting, hedges trimmed etc. All felt rather neglected. Such a pity because the location and park seemed really great. A clean place would have given a completely different review.

Staff was rude, decided to try and charge us 500 euro damage deposit which was never mentioned at all on the booking Place wasnt wat we booked everything was closed no shop no resturant no pools and there were ants everywhere in the chalet

The lay out of the house was nice, but quite a bit of little maintenance was lacking. Especially the smell of sewer didn’t disappear after normal use of 3 days..

The location and cleanliness were great. No A/C or screens on the windows, so lots of mosquito bites! We also had plumbing issues. They were addressed the third day, so that wasn't pleasant. We were warned on the check in info not to flush toilet paper, so this had evidently been an issue, and should have been addressed. We also had people in and out frequently for other maintenance issues that maybe should have been addressed prior to our visit. The beds were very comfortable and the location was central to much of what wanted to see, however.

Beware of the grounds staff
Perhaps being verbally abused by a member of the grounds staff the moment I arrived has biased my opinion of this place. He berated me for cutting in behind him while he was reversing his van without due care and attention and then proceeded to harass me, following me into reception and driving by the chalet afterwards to shout at me some more. I was left feeling shell-shocked and apprehensive. Reception staff did nothing to try and prevent the attack or reprimand him. The chalet itself (Waterland 6) is very clean, modern and comfortable with a toilet upstairs and a shower and toilet downstairs. While there is no oven in the kitchen, there is a convection microwave. WiFi was excellent in the chalet despite a warning when checking in that it might be unstable. There were moments when it died, but they were few. Everything is supplied except towels and toilet paper (one roll provided). Bedding is provided at an extra charge per person. Clothes can be washed at the ‘wasserette’ in the park, but you have to be up at the crack of dawn to get a machine. There are only three machines and one dryer in a small shed with a torn-down curtain for a door. Hopelessly inadequate for the entire park. Also, wash tokens cost €4.50 with another €4.50 for only 10 minutes in the dryer! The area is remote, so a car is essential. The park restaurant wasn’t operational and there are few restaurants in the surrounding area although Alkmaar is only 20 minutes drive from the park. I won’t be back.

Great place away from the city
We loved it so much we added another night! The little home was exceptionally clean. It comes with TV and cable, a dining table, couch, a kitchenette, dishes, utensils, dish washer, microwave, refrigerator, shower, and three rooms. The rooms are a bit small but they are comfortable. Bring your own linen if you can. Bring your own towels and hygiene kit. The resort is in a small town secluded from the cities but it has a little market and a restaurant. It is about a 25 min drive to Amsterdam. The reception office closes at 1600! So arrive early. If and when the reception office is closed they will help you at the restaurant.

Unser Haus war sauber und wir hatten ausreichend Platz. Parkplatz ist direkt an der Unterkunft gelegen. Der Park an sich bietet nicht viel Abwechslung, aber wir waren jeden Tag in einer anderen Stadt, sodass es uns weniger gestört hat. Der Park ist für kleinere Kinder sehr gut und bietet das ein oder andere zum Spielen.

Pior atendimento que recebi na vida.
Foi o pior lugar que fiquei nos mais de 30 países que viajei. 1- no check-in não nos foi informado que não existia toalhas nos apartamentos e a recepção não abre depois das 19h. Tivemos que nos secar com roupas limpas e comprar toalhas no dia seguinte. 2- o apartamento ficou sem luz no dia 31/12 e na recepção disseram que não poderiam me dar assistência. Comemorei o ano novo no escuro. 3- o chão é escuro e não dá para ver a imensa sujeira do chão. Em 2 horas minhas meias ficaram imundas. 4- os utensílios da cozinha são bastante limitados. Não tem pratos fundos para tomar uma sopa no inverno, e bucha ou detergente na pia. Tivemos que comprar tudo. 5- um dos quartos mede aproximadamente 8m quadrados, ao ponto que a mala não cabe no quarto, além das duas camas. 6- Eles não avisam qual é a senha do wifi no check-in. Você obrigado a presumir em perguntar pois não tem escrito em nenhum lugar.

I would have liked to be inform that we have to bring our towels, shampoo etc. The give soap for dishwasher but there is non dishwasher??? an air conditionning would have been appreciated. Snack bar open too late (around 3pm) so no possibility to by what is missing all day. The site itself is very nice and houses quite good

Het is een mooi huisje maar ontzettend vies. De bank is volledig versleten waarbij de scheuren in het leer zitten. De badkamer stonk ontzettend naar riool en ondanks het open zetten van kranen ging de geur niet weg. We hebben bij de winkel een verfrissend gekocht om de geur een beetje te maskeren. overal lag stof en de spinnen hingen overal aan het plafond. Daarnaast waren de stoelen in de tuin vies maar ook niet schoon te krijgen.

Sehr dreckig, es lagen noch Haare von anderen Mietern im Bad. Scheiben an der Terrasse waren voller Handabdrücke von Kindern. Der Kühlschrank war von innen eine Katastrophe. Zudem schimmelte es in dem Ferienhaus

Leider war unsere Unterkunft komplett beschmiert mit toten Fliegen und Moskitos. Desweiteren Haare von Vorbesitzern noch sichtbar. Moskitonetze alle defekt. Selbst nach Beschwerde keine bessere Sauberkeit sichtbar....sehr schade da es sonst ein sehr schöner Park ist und viel für Kinder zu bieten hat. Alles in allem sehr enttäuschend.
