"Had a great weekend stay about as close as you can get to the historic Harpers Ferry location. Pretty cool to stay in such an historic building in an area of such rich history. Suite was clean & had everything we needed. Check in was smooth and simple. The multiple freight trains going past were long & loud, but that added to the uniqueness of the location/experience. Would definitely recommend."

We particular enjoyed the location, only a brief walk from the charming main strip, where we enjoyed meals and snowy walks. Made for a delightful weekend escape!"

"Some of the most important things while traveling is looking for a place to stay that is both safe and clean. This apartment definitely topped that. It is adorable and in a town full of so much history. I highly recommend staying here. The property manager was very kind and communicated very well with us incase we needed anything. I also appreciated the small parking lot behind the building so i knew my car would be safe. They even brought a portable fireplace for us to stay warm. Though i only...

"We had a wonderful stay. The hosts were very kind and thoughtful. We were in town for a few days due to our Grandmother's passing. When we arrived the apartment is just as pictured. The apartment has 4 spacious bedrooms and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked and the hosts left us a basket of snacks. The restaurant downstairs was a major perk of our trip. We enjoyed the southern home cooking for breakfast and dinner. We will definitely stay here again when visiting our family...

"Overall an excellent stay, very clean, decently supplied. Excellent location in the middle of a bunch of the north hiking areas. Close to grocery and gas. We were happy to have a close outdoor plug so we could charge our PHEV. Would definitely stay here again if we get back to this area."

"Came for the US Cycling National Road Championship. Agree with every other 5 star review. The host made his secure garage available for our racing bikes, which enabled us to enjoy the whole living space without our bikes in it. I wish I’d had more time to explore the riding around Charlston, but the in-city roads were great and, for those who like a bike path, the Kanawha River has a pretty good one. Highly recommend."

"It was everything we were hoping it would be. A quiet place to for some old friends to catch up. Very serene; it had been a while since we were able to sit on a porch and take in some peace and quiet. It was very near everything and the hosts were very nice. Would certainly stay there again!"

"Really nice room. The building is quite dated. Nice access to slopes for night skiing. Restaurant in building was not great, but an easy shuttle ride to better places to eat. Overall really liked it and would come back. "

Several free museums and historical sites within walking distance. Park ranger free presentations at 2:00 PM were interesting and informative. Easy access. Responsive host.
