"The property is set on a well maintained estate. The area is quiet and we felt incredibly safe. The property is undergoing some maintenance in some areas- just painting and decorating- however this didn’t detract from the charm and uniqueness this place holds. The onsite dining room is very quaint and the staff at dinner were polite and helpful, as were the morning staff for breakfast. We did make use of the pool- it is heated but it does look like it could do with some painting also but we enjoyed it regardless. The bedroom was a good size, the ensuite was particularly charming, very clean and well maintained. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again."

"White House is an older property centrally located in Watford only a few minutes from Sainsbury's and the shopping area. Parking at the rear of the property is convenient. While the decor is older, the rooms are comfortable and clean. What makes this property special is the friendliness of the staff. Every member we encountered was friendly and polite. After a long haul flight, it filled the bill. Clean beds, hot shower and a place to launch our travels. "

"It was an Anniversary break, and this was specifically referenced in the booking ..... but it was not acknowledged in anyway when we arrived at the hotel, which for a Hilton hotel is very rare. The hotel was very noisey, as they were getting ready for a concert, which was not mentioned when booking. We have stayed at the hotel many, many times .... but this stay was distinctly average."

"Well presented, clean and friendly hotel. Warm welcome on arrival, easy quick check in. The room was well presented and very clean, good size new TV and a very comfortable bed! Air conditioned rooms so nice overall temperature. Friendly staff at the bar with a good choice of food and beverages. Overall a nice experience."
