"This was our second short stay at the Depot. We love this little house and use it as a launching off spot for biking, paddling and short day trips. The road biking around the depot is fantastic. The house itself is very comfortable and well appointed. We love the train themed decor and memorabilia. One thing to note, while there are two bedrooms, the upstairs bedroom doesn’t have a door. Not an issue for our family, but could be awkward for couples traveling together."

"Our group of 8 adults stayed on the property after kayaking the Kickapoo. There was plenty of room for all of us. Had a bonfire and could see all the stars in the open view. Breakfast on the patio overlooking the barns was so peaceful. There were lots of thoughtful touches like having spices/seasonings for cooking and coffee pods. We would stay there again!"

"The cabin was perfect for a getaway girls weekend! It was clean and comfortable and equipped with all the basics. The sun rising in the beautiful west windows and setting through the woods to the east, always shining on the patio was glorious. We enjoyed the porch, the firepit and breakfast nook most! "We enjoyed our time at the cabin! We had all the comforts if home. The property is close to a road but still felt very private and serene. The river views are gorgeous! The loft sleeping area was fine and the beds were so comfortable. The hosts are nice and available if needed."
