Room furniture was old and dirty. Bathroom was dirty. Showerhead was dirty. No bin was in the bathroom. Stairway carpet was dirty. The bar staff act as reception. Avoid stayingithe hotel

Great place
The room was the lake view. And was a lovely simple medium room. With ensuite and tv and coffee bits. The staff were lovely. And the pub dowstairs was top notch serving food.

Check in was swift and easy. The information given was informative and helpful. Rooms clean, with warming decor. No noise could be heard from the pub below. Only criticism would be the shower, took over 5 minutes to heat up and the water pressure wasn’t great. Would stay here again.

The good bits. Great location. Lovely comfortable bed and everything you need. Fantastic friendly, helpful staff. Easy check in. Food in the restaurant was absolutely superb The bad bits. Rooms could do with a spruce up but it’s under new ownership and has recently been taken over. Overall was clean, tidy and friendly. Would definitely stay again

Stayed there a few times. Nevertheless complaining. Got in to the room it was rotten. The toilet absolutely dirty still stain marks in the pot. Had to asked the cleaner to come back to clean. The bathroom door cover with stains

Our room had a beautiful view and we were right in town. There is a nice bar downstairs and a good restaurant below that, but we didn’t hear any noise from those in our room. The staff was very helpful and friendly too. I definitely recommend this place!

Lovely place to stay in Windemere
On arrival Tarl very friendly and gave me info for a place to park free couple of hundred yards away really usefull.Travelled solo as just up for a couple of walks. Hotel great location and clean. Nice bar area only thing I would say is maybe allow food to be served in bar area as booked a table but in downstairs room no windows so not ideal if not with company as miss the humdrum so ate elsewhere

An absolute brilliant overnight stay very clean and comfortable fantastic hotel and service very well situated to take in breath taking views only fault was i didn't book for longer but will definitely re visit
