The property is in an excellent location being nearly just across the street from Windsor Castle itself. The property/rooms were very nice, we had a city view - nothing to disappoint with the Changing of the Guard going directly in front. The room was very clean, bed was comfy, bathroom spacious, modern and also very clean. We really enjoyed the location being so near to all the activity the Windsor area has to offer. Thank you Windsor Castle Hotel. We would stay here again.

Given the limited area the bathroom was good and the shower excellent. The room lacked counter or shelf space and clothes storage was minimal.

Didn’t love reception— the woman we had was cold, unhelpful, and unapologetic since we had booked the hotel through Expedia and there was a mixup in the guests. Easily the worst hotel experience we’ve had on our entire 2 week uk trip. Would not stay again and would not recommend. The walls are paper thin and the room above us had people stomping and dropping what sounded like bowling balls at 5 am in the morning.

The reservation had been made for 2 guests, however there were 3 guests present and my colleagues provided a complimentary upgrade to ensure that you would be accommodated in a larger room to fit you all. I apologise that you did not feel that they handled this appropriately, I appreciate you bringing this to my attention and rest assured that I will look into this.

The hotel staff were friendly and organized. There was no gym, which I would have liked but it’s not like one was promised but not present. The directions for driving to the car park entrance were not good, their email just gave a postcode which was inadequate to find even the hotel in Google Maps. I found it, but better directions would have helped. Comfy bed, solid wifi.

Centrally located but despite booking a junior suite - the most expensive room offered by Expedia - we were on the ground floor with sweeping views of the car park. Really think that sort of detail should be included in the room description as I could have saved a few pounds and been in the main building. Reception staff also something of a mixed bag in terms of competence.

Our room shower (accessible) flooded with the first shower so we were moved to another room. The ladies at the reception desk were wonderful, as was the bellman who helped with our luggage. We were pleased with the new room and are grateful for the consideration!

When I checked in I specifically mention that there is 2 adults and 1 child, not 3 adults. But checkin staff was ignorant and unhelpful. However when I checked out I had a really nice experience thanks to Indi and Rushmi as they adjusted our breakfast as i was charged for 3 adults instead and they amended to 2 adults and child. They was very helpful, friendly and also provided little colouring book with pencils for kid, which was very kind. If not unpleasant experience with checking I would give 5 stars to the stuff.

Lovely place to stay
Perfect location in Windsor. Staff were helpful, the room was clean and adequate. Breakfast could have had a few more options but other than that, I would recommend this hotel and will definitely be back.

Stay here when in Windsor!
It was our fav so far in Windsor. Location is perfect across from the castle and all shops are walking distance. Excellent restaurant and charming hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful!

I liked the set up as soon as you get there revolving door which is authentic and classy. It gives you a warm welcome walking in with the restaurant to the right and left as you walk in. The young lady on reception was a credit to the hotel. Polite helpful and very friendly in helping us check in. The room was amazing as was the breakfast, the experience on a whole was a 10/10 i will be going back to stay
