"The room was clean and the bathroom had been recently remodeled. Checking in was a bit difficult with the management not on premise. The owners are making efforts to upgrade the property and could spend some time tidying up the front parking area and entry which is not very inviting. "

"Good location, not too close from city center (about a 40 minute walk), but still close to smaller shops and restaurants. Room was on the smaller side but it was very clean. Very simple breakfast provided which consisted of cereal, juice/tea/coffee and yogurt cups, nothing fancy but enough to get the day started. Check-in is a little different since you have to call a number to have access to the front door. Still a lovely stay."

"Really central. Great choice if you’re happy to have a small but decently set up room in the centre of Oxford. Bed was comfortable and the place was clean and well kept especially considering what an old building it is."

"Lovely place, unstaffed but easy access. Only issue was it was very hot even with a fan on a day that was 20 degrees C outside, so would be unbearable in the height of summer. Fan was in the room, but didn’t do much. Open windows wouldn’t have helped due to road noise. "

"Very easy to access, 5-10mins walk from centre of Oxford. 5 mins to a Tesco Express which was very useful. Really tidy, great mini-kitchen, and a really tidy shower room/toilet - no bath though. Just wish I'd stayed there the other nights I was in Oxford. Great choice here."
