"Was like a delightful step back in time. Peaceful! Loved the countryside. Local cows became friends. Learned about using turf in stove. We loved it! Very easy to start! Stephanie was wonderful and made some reservations for us as well as providing turf for our first night when stores were closed. Lovely village!"

"We had a wonderful stay at Peter's home. We had ten people and the house was more than sufficient to give everyone their own bedroom, bathroom and space. The views out the back decks was breathtaking giving you the real Ireland experience. Much of the area can be walked with no problems. Good food, good pubs lots of touristy things to do. "We were very fortunate to find this property in the wonderful Silvermines for a quick weekend trip over to Ireland. It is such a beautifully finished, well-appointed property to use as a base for travel further around Ireland, or to enjoy the peaceful countryside from in its own right. "I spent all of July and August at Sean’s Lodge at Stonepark and I loved every minute of it. The Lodge was fully equipped with everything I could possibly need to have a comfortable stay and Sean was incredibly kind and helpful. The lodge was quiet and in a beautiful country location but only a 20 minute drive to Portumna and a 30 minute drive to Nenagh. I would definitely love to stay at the Lodge again. 10/10"
