"We loved the hotel, it was quiet, our room (a Superior King) was nice, spacious & clean. The bed was comfy & we slept well but I did find the room a little warm & the A/C was tricky to master & keep on for a long period. We had a great view of the Rock. A buffet breakfast is served on the 8th Floor with good views of the surrounding area. There is a small range of hot & cold food available including fried eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms, sausages, bacon & hash browns. Scrambled eggs & omelettes can be ordered. Staff were friendly & helpful. We didn't use the pool but it looked a lovely area. The location of the hotel is quite central to most sights, either by walking, taxi or local bus. I do think more information of what to see & do could be made available in the hotel reception. The hotel is lovely but I was less taken with Gibraltar itself. It seems to be a place people visit for a day. We enjoyed the cable car, the rock & the nature park & now we've seen that have no reason to return. We found the Tourist Information Centre less than helpful. The hotel is just off Main Street where you will find a shopping area & a few eating places, mainly Fish & Chip style eateries. We used the No 5/10 Bus to get there from the border, getting off at Commonwealth Park walking via the Cathedral, Main Street & Library Street, V easy. We used a taxi back to the airport (£16-17). Would I recommend the hotel? Yes. Would I recommend Gibraltar? Probably Not & would depend on reasons for going."
