"The location was amazing. The parking is limited so make sure to book asap. $10. The AC was great. . Tv was good. The bad.. the elevator was broke and we were on the 5th floor. They offered no discount or even free coffee.. we were told our room was ready 3 times and after walking up 87 steps up we find out its not. "We were welcomed warmly by staff and walked to our room with information and explanations along the way. Room was large, nice and bed was comfortable. Easy walk to our cruise boat dock. Easy walk to tram and bus stop. Staff was helpful with directions. Coffee available for purchase in the morning if not purchasing breakfast buffet. Wonderful stay in Basel. "

Although the instructions for locating the shuttle pick-up point were clear and helpful, upon reaching "Parking Express," there were no signs indicating the transfer. "Comfortable stay. Rooms are big enough for two only, but good comfortable beds. Breakfast was good quality with a decent amount of choices (eggs, baked beans, yoghurt, fruit, cheeses, meats, sausages, juice, tea and coffee). Tram stop was a short distance (4-6 min walk) which was convenient."

"We booked it last minute, in Europe usually you cannot check in after 8pm so having a 24 hour front desk for travelers is a huge bonus. We just parked on the street but I believe they’re have a garage as well. Also enjoyed check out at noon"

"We chose the property because it’s close to the train station, but what we didn’t know is that the staff are wonderful, the breakfast is a fresh and full spread of ash morning, and the beds and comfy. The property is simple and old but it didn’t feel dated or in the least.
