"The room was very spacious and clean! The front desk staff was very helpful and did a great job with checkin and questions even with a large crowd because of a local sporting event. Breakfast was okay. The staff running breakfast was also trying to run the front desk because that person did not report for work. This caused things to get a bit messy at the breakfast area and hard to keep up with things but they handled it well and continued to be very friendly. "

Not far is the little town, and while not much there for options as some might want, there's a few places to eat...then we got an ice cream cone at the ice cream place and took a stroll along part of 'downtown'...walked down a side street about a block, and we could peer thru the foliage and somewhere down in there is the river. "Our check-in was fine until we discovered the TV in the room didn't work properly. We were told no maintenance was available (this was about 4:30 p.m.), so we had to pick up everything and move to another room. The person who checked us in was fine, but there was another clerk who was rather snide and not nearly as friendly. Someone spilled something on the lobby floor (dry, not wet) that was still on the floor when we returned to the hotel hours later. None of the soda vending machines worked,...
