"The breakfast was very nice. Very nice views. Free parking. We booked a 'double room, 1 double bed' and were given 2 single beds. The room was VERY cold as the heating was only on very low. The bathroom was even colder as there was no heating at all. There were electric blankets on the beds which helped a little but we didn't sleep very well. The room was rather dated and could do with being modernised. The soundproofing isn't great. The water in our jug in our room didn't look very...

We arrived really late after a delayed ferry and she was very accommodating and helpful in every way. Our room was clean and comfortable with a really beautiful view. Breakfast was outstanding; great choice, all local produce and freshly prepared. The home made scones were a standout and Marion most generously gave us some to take with us for lunch. "Overall we had a great stay at Hydrangea House. We did get a bit cold as the heating went out but it was over a holiday week so there wasn't much that could be done. We did just fine. The house is comfortable and in a great country type setting. "
