Very helpful and pleasant owner. Beautiful situation. Unfortunately the heating was malfunctioning and our room was cold. One of the towels probably had a hole in it
Ovane Falls was in a lovely waterside location. The room was clean, warm and comfortable. The food was tasty. Having the bar and restaurant on site was very convenient. We were very well looked after from start to finish. We will come back soon!
This place is perfect for a stop-over! great location right off the road and with an amazing view. The hospitality was amazing; we arrived later than hoped, but they whipped us up a fantastic dinner despite kitchen closing soon. Then, somehow, we were lucky enough to be here during a weekly step/trad dancing party and had a blast watching! Then our hostess made us THE BEST BREAKFAST! Definitely recommend.
On arrival we thought it was shut, it opened at 5pm
On entering through the main entrance to the upstairs rooms we were greeted with a filthy carpet and sticky hand rail
In the room it was dated, stains on the carpet towels and bed runner
The bathroom had tiles hanging off and
Mouldy grout around the bath
The only reason we stayed was we had travel 6 hours and the welcome we got from Emily who couldn’t do enough for us.
Evening meal and breakfast amazing and nothing was to much trouble even down to finding a hairdryer !
The view was amazing and it could be an amazing place if it had a but of tlc
Trish, who welcomed us was very friendly and accommodating. The evening entertainment was good fun. The food was ok. Unfortunately the rooms and bathrooms didn’t live up to the price and the main road made it very noisy. Nice view though.
