"Caution when booking this property through Expedia. We traveled to Germany from the United States, and when we arrived there, they did not have our reservation. After finding someone to speak English, she was able to locate the reservation, however, they were not prepared for our arrival. It seemed to be an inconvenience for them that we were there. We asked about a lift/elevator to get our luggage up to the room on the third floor. We were told they had an elevator, however, the elevator...

"The hotel was very much as in the description. Simple hotel, clean, well looked after, had all the essentials. No coffee making facilities or fridge in the room. Had its own car park (€8 extra), but at night this was sometimes full and finding parking locally was not easy. Very good breakfast and friendly helpful staff. "

"Stayed here a few times and it doesn't disappoint. German cleanliness and efficiency as to be expected. The rooms are nice, wouldn't describe them as the height of luxury - but this isn't a 5 star hotel, so you get what you pay for! There is no fridge in the room, which is a little strange for nowadays... Wi-fi works perfectly, plenty of parking, all the staff are very nice and accommodating. The general area outside is beautiful, very nice to walk around the lake. The sauna, pool and spa area...

"Externally the hotel does not look interesting but it has been renovated and is lovely inside especially the breakfast room. The bedroom was contemporary and very clean. The only downside was the shower as it wasn’t very powerful. Parking in front of the hotel was very easy and free. The breakfast was extremely good. Unfortunately the swimming pool was closed. Short walk into town. "
