"Overall good stay. Older decor and it took the water awhile to heat up are the only complaints. Food at hotel restaurant was beyond what we were expecting. All staff was very friendly and accommodating. Easy walk to downtown area/ convention center."

"Honestly liked it wasn't very crowded. All personnel were great! Front desk lady was exceptional!!! Very nice and helped me a lot as I don’t get to travel and have not stayed in many hotels. The pool was great and if you wait until after 5 pm you have a lot of shade. If I had to pick on anything the shower had hair in it on the walls not in the tub itself which is why I think it didn’t get seen. I would definitely stay here again. The friendliness of the staff is above and beyond!!!"

"Quaint! Room was very clean. Food and Coffee was amazing. Pool was not clean, Wi-Fi did not work, and did not like Christmas decorations up in June. Two Christmas trees and mantel was decorated for Christmas. Hotel definitely could use a little renovation outside, but still a beautiful place. "

"Our stay was comfortable, it feels homey. Very safe with automatic locks and being gated. Door lock did have issues with locking once during our stay. Staff was very helpful with correcting the issue. Disappointed pool was not working during our stay, even though it was probably too cold to swim anyways. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Mardi Gras house. We really hated to see that it was being sold but hopefully the new owners will continue to have it a Bed and Breakfast. It was conveniently located for all our needs. The house keeper was available at all times and very accommodating. The room was way better than expected. The decor was fabulous!!! If it does continue to be a bed and breakfast we will continue to use it as long as we can. "
