I stayed at Hotel Bratislava overnight before an early flight from the airport. Service was great - they were able to accommodate a last minute request for a room on a lower floor, and although my room type changed for the better, I switched rooms free of charge. Hotel Bratislava is clearly a budget hotel, but for the price I found it to be a great deal.

We arrived late in the evening and the check in process was welcoming and efficient. Our room on the second floor was spacious with contemporary decor. Great double glazing kept the noise from the road out but it was nice to be able to open a window to let fresh air in. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was smart and spacious. The free mini bar was also a bonus.
Breakfast which was served in the Fabrika bar was excellent with a large buffet of cooked food, hams, cheeses, salad vegetables, fruit, pastries, breads and juices. Coffee and every type of tea was also available. The food was organised in such a way that we could all get our food with ease and even though it was busier on Friday and Saturday morning there still seemed to be plenty of room for everyone to move around.
The staff in the hotel were, without exception, polite and friendly and very efficient. We also used the quieter lounge bar in the hotel and found the staff and service there particularly good. We were treated very respectfully and politely.
All in all a very impressive hotel which offered great quality accommodation and service at an extremely reasonable rate.

The value received was outstanding. Falkensteiner is a business hotel, but we stayed on a weekend and had all the benefits, plus the total attention of the staff.
We walked to old town and when we left, only a 9 Euro ride to the main rail station. Excellent location for us.
I attended a sad family event in Bratislava. Since I stayed at this hotel in the past, I chose it again. After initial misunderstanding with the room, the staff was super accommodating and helped me with my room selection. During my 3 nights stay I felt like at home. The staff was helping me in any way they could and everybody was super friendly.
And one cannot forget the best location of this hotel. Right in the center, within walking distance to the historic center, to the castle or to the shopping center.
After a busy day, you can relax in the spa with pool, sauna or fitness.
Hotel Devin is a classic and definitely a great place to stay.
We stayed at this hotel for only one night but considered spending another one just to sleep another night in the amazing bed. This hotel is one of the best ones we have stayed in Europe and the price we paid was cheaper than what we would pay for a motel 8 in the states. The breakfast was amazing, it had a lot of great choices to choose from and the staff was very friendly. The hotel does have a spa area with a pool and jacuzzi plus two sauna rooms which we didn't have time to try but it looked very nice and clean with an attendant present to answer any questions. The hotel is not close to the center of town so you need to have a car or figure out transportation from the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel.

Located less than 30 minutes walk from the old town this is an ideal location. With the added bonus that it is more of a 'locals' area rather than tourist area. The car park is about as secure as you can imagine and the shopping centre next door was very handy. Superb bar/restaurant across the road from the hotel that does Slovakian dishes and is very busy even on a week night. Again it seems to be locals that frequent this bar rather than tourists, and for an evening out I preferred it to the old town tourist area bars/restaurants.
