"Had a lovely spa break. Our stay was kickstarted with a lovely welcome, made to feel like family and instantly given a glass of bubbles and shown to lunch. The photos don’t do the spa area justice, it is gorgeous! We spent a lovely afternoon using the saunas, pool and relaxation room. "We booked this hotel for a family vacation. Positives: Room was nice and spacious, the pool indoor/outdoor was nice, breakfast was excellent. Friendly staff and helpful. Nice area if you like to be around nature. Negatives: Found the bed to be not completely comfortable. Dinner was good but perhaps not worth the price. We found some spots in the city we preferred that were much more affordable. The positives definitely outweighed the negatives, we had a very nice stay and would consider...

"I couldn’t figure out how to get the air conditioner to work but thankfully it wasn’t too hot and I left the windows cracked open during the night for cool air. I’m sure it was my user error & wouldn’t count this as a negative for the hotel. It was clean, quiet, comfortable and in a great location. Highly recommend and I’d definitely stay again! "

"Castel Rundegg is an old fashioned hotel in the very best sense. It is a beautiful building in a most beautiful town, with comfortable public areas and spacious well appointed bedrooms. Those who are looking for discos and fast food options might choose elsewhere, but it does offer superb cuisine, stunning gardens and an old world elegance. It also boasts extensive pool, sauna and spa treatments. We look forward to returning there."

"AMAZING dinners! Enjoyed the lawn area and convenience to town. Quiet evenings and comfortable room. We stayed in the Bavariette which is slightly cheaper yet totally fine. Great breakfast buffet. You can enter the gated parking automatically but have to get a token from the front desk to exist which was unusual, but fine. This is truly a gem, I'm not sure the staff there even realizes what an incredible chef they have. Would definitely enjoy staying here again."

"I booked this hotel at the last moment without knowing much about the area, other than I was going Obergurgl to ski. I was pleasantly surprised! I was greeted by Rebekka who walked me through all of the hotel amenities while serving me a welcome beverage. She handled every detail of my stay, including arranging my four day ski pass. The hotel if beautifully appointed in the Alpine style. I didn't know what "half board" meant when I booked the hotel...it means that dinner, as well as...

"The valley that Hotel Rössl is located in is simply beautiful. The hotel was superb and the breakfast was excellent! Our room felt like two separate rooms. Beautiful views too!! It was clean, comfortable and resort-like. Very impressed. I cannot imagine anyone knocking a place like this. Staff were super friendly. "

"Great hotel, room was very modern, clean and comfortable with beautiful Mountain views. Great location, near ski lifts and ski bus across the road. Breakfast was excellent, wide range of options, 6 courses at dinner was excellent. Afternoon snack was delicious too and great for when you come off the slopes. Loved the spa especially the outdoor pool and jacuzzi. Dressing gown slippers and towels provided. Will definitely be back. "
