I came to Egypt for a study abroad semester, and I was really scared being in Egypt by myself as a young woman, especially since I had never left my country before. "Aptly named. - Cheap, cheerful and laid back. friendly staff. Mainly under 30 clientele from around the world. There was a store room off my room so staff were going through now & again. Lockers were in short supply but I got given a key to the front door ( most people just knocked) staff seemed to be around 24hrs. Plenty of charging points and reading lights by beds. "

"My single room had only a comfortable clean bed, a light and a fan. The room and the bathroom were very clean. The staff was friendly, and the hostel had a nice vibe. It was centrally located was in the middle of busy area. Very safe and walkable. I only had one dislike. The elevator only goes to the 6th floor, however the hostel is on the 7th floor. So you have to walk up about 20 winding stairs with luggage. There is no call button to to summon the elevator up. The staff has to call to the...

"All of the staff were very very kind and helpful to me and my mother.The hotel is in short distance to the pyramids and some shopping, however it is a tourist area, so the hotel can not control everything. Not too far from the hotel there were children peddling which can be uncomfortable, however you also should come with an open mind. Every country is not the same. This hotel was a good choice and I have no regrets about staying. "
