"The location is great. The hotel is old and beaten down but it's clean and lively. Its in the heart of a busy area so if you stay on the 1st floor the noise from the street will be a part of your stay. It's not too bad though actually adds a nice vibe to the stay. I had a problem checking in on time becasue the roads were closed by protests that day and the hotel couldn't really offer anything to help like moving my booking to the next day or refund my booking so I can book somewhere I can get...

"Such a great find! Perfect location literally 30 seconds to tram and 2 minutes to Metro. Right by entrance to Gulhane Park which you can cut through to access Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sofia and Blue Mosques. The hotel has so many free extras - bagels and Turkish tea, Turkish delight in room, bottled water on room plus free tours and a cookery lesson. All the staff were so helpful and friendly. Would not hesitate to book again if returning to Istanbul 😀"
