"Dave was super helpful and friendly throughout our short (2 nights) stay. He picked us up and dropped us off at the ferry and stopped by the supermarket so we could pick up some supplies during our arrival. The place was clean and Dave's garden was very pretty (loved the turtle and the rabbits!) - it's clear he and his family have put a lot of work into the grounds. "Moira was a good communicator through WhatsApp. The sunsets were stunning and you could see the sail boats at Sandy Island. Mid day gets hot with no AC so we went to the beach and did exploring in the afternoons. Sleeping was comfortable enough under the ceiling fan."

"If there was a 6 star option I would give 6 stars. Our stay was perfect. The location was great and secluded and Sue was an amazing host. She answered all our questions suggested things to do and places to eat. She communicated very well and made us feel so comfortable. Couldn’t have asked for a better weekend get away. We are already planning our trip back!"

Our comfort and satisfaction was a priority for them throughout our one-week stay. we could. "Hillsborough is a bit of a shanty town..all the action seems to be in Tyrell Bay now,but Jonas and his people do a great job in my view anyway. Light breakfast and good local menu at night including fresh seafood with a little Japanese local interpretation was very nice...no beach out the front...but I enjoyed my stay here..Thanks Jonas.. "
