Stayed here for 10 days, August 19th to 29th. This hotel has it all, great city center location, clean comfortable rooms and super friendly staff. When my husband booked from the US he did not include breakfast, the manager kindly added this free of charge. Reading other reviews, there are some comments regards noise. My room was on the 10th floor near the corner, I had a lovely view of the river clyde, there is some street noise with the window open, this is a city after all. I ate dinner every evening either in the bar or restaurant, food was of good quality, served quickly with lovely staff. I will visit again Glasgow again in October I would be very happy to stay here again.
Quiet spectacular room, robe, fab toiletries and professional friendly staff. More like a spa than a work visit. Cool original gate style lift. Breakfast was ok but better to go to one of many coffee bars instead. Ate in Butterfly and Pig minutes away recommended by reception and superb. I felt looked after in the Arthouse which is rare for one night visits in big cities.
We stayed here for a weekend away which included going to see a show in the Hydro, walk to train 5 minutes and took train to the Hydro, easy.
Lovely hotel and would really recommend room service breakfast in bed! Fabulous with a fantastic choice, delivered on time.
We upgraded to a "City View" room which was well worth it and cost only £10 a night!!
Staff friendly and helpful, 24 hour secure car park next door which the hotel gives you a 25% discount voucher for, we parked the car and left it there as the hotel is on a bus route and walking distance to all amenities!!
Would stay here again and recommend to everyone!!
We stayed twice in August and found the hotel very nice. The rooms were large and the beds comfortable. The reception staff and concierges were remarkable, friendly, and went out of their way to make our stay great. Our room faced the back and was quiet but my sister's room faced the front and was noisy in the middle of the night when revelers were leaving the local pubs. Would recommend a rear facing room if you are staying on the weekend.
"Not like a hotel at all - more like a luxury home"
Only stayed here because all the hotels were booked due to the Ryder Cup. What have I been missing? The appartments were lovely - like staying in a luxury 5* appartment but with all the comforts of home. Unlike when you stay in a hotel - no watching the TV sat on your bed, a real sofa to sit on, a table to eat your meal at, real cuttlery, no drinking your wine from the plastic cup from the bathroom - even a real wine glass. Excellent - only down side was I was only staying for one night. Can't praise it enough. I will be back.
