"Right opposite the train station so very handy for anyone who has mobility problems. Much quieter than I was expecting and the bed was extremely comfortable. Bedroom had plenty of supplies - including Earl Grey teabags, a cafetière and ground coffee, biscuits etc, also towelling robes and slippers. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. No food service after 6pm but within a short walking distance of many restaurants and bars. "

"I booked a night here with my husband and our baby for my husband's birthday during our first visit to Bristol. I mentioned that we would be celebrating my husband's birthday when I contacted the hotel to request a cot for our baby. When we arrived in our spacious room there were all sorts of treats, bubbly, decorations and a birthday card. The staff really went above and beyond to make it a special stay. We were also given vouchers for coffees and drinks at the bar. So many thoughtful touches...

"We were greeted by Chris when we checked in after long day exploring Cotswold. We decided to stay in and booked a reservation for dinner. We had steak and Seabass and both meals were cooked to a perfection. All the courses were delicious from starter to dessert. The bed, bedding, linens, and soaps were luxury without loosing the characters of the house..and clean. All the staff were super friendly and very helpful. Thanks Desi, Chris and everyone (sorry, I forgot the name) so...
