Cleanliness, staff are good, setup, overall, I loved it and would go there again and would recommend it any day any time
The stay was good value for the money, rooms were a bit small, but for the money we paid we cant complain, good selection at breakfast considering it was only a continental one. The main reason I booked it was the lovely setting by the river with the working water wheel
We were upgraded, room was small but clean. Beds very comfortable, but no shower gel or shampoo in the shower cubicle. Otherwise we will definitely return again.
Lovely hotel, cracking view of the river. Comfortable and clean
Staff were really attentive and friendly and worked really hard to make us feel welcome.
We would definitely return

Nice hotel
Breakfast - disappointing not a lot of course
Staff helpful
Was a lovely 2 nite stay outside of Bath. Bus is a 3 min walk away, so no parking prices to pay. As you come down the hill to property turn slightly left before the toll bridge and exit same entrance. Good variety of meals in restaurant. Would stay again.
Staff were fabulous especially the receptionist. Breakfast was fine but limited choice. Only continental available. Hotel on side of river so beautifully situated..
For 140 I would have expected a bit more. The TV wasn't working and the room was very small. The staff were good but I have to say, I was a little disappointed for the price I paid.
Beautiful room. Lovely and clean. Staff were friendly a check in was quick and easy. Parking was very handy. The breakfast was basic but considering what I paid for the room with breakfast included, the food was adequate. Nice range of teas and teapots!

Friendly staff. The room is dated and the heating didn't work. Unfortunate odour on entering the room, which cleared after spraying deodorant. The kettle kept blowing the fuse to the tv, fridge and wall lights. The manager provided a kettle change and free standing heater.

It is a quaint old hotel just outside Bath. Some renovations have been done. Rooms are clean and modern enough. The bathroom could do with some mould remover.
Fridge didnt work at all, even after having someone look at it.
Continental breakfast was ample.
Staff friendly.

We stayed in room 114 which had a beautiful view over the river and fields - the most quaint English hotel (albeit with an Italian flair and great menu) - beautifully tranquil with a lovely continental breakfast too - thanks to all who made this memorable - we will certainly return
We loved the location of this hotel. Beautiful surroundings and not too far from the city centre. Parking is limited at times and the rooms don’t have air conditioning but we enjoyed our stay.
