"We loved staying in Ross House. The place is quiet but close to many amenities. We loved canoeing on the lake. The pier is only 200m from the hotel. You can also go to a small beach about 3km from the hotel - short drive, beach is safe for kids. The hosts are super friendly and relaxed. Breakfast was great too. I will gladly go back "

I took a short walk and found the Abbey in town that included a botanical garden with cafe (and tea houses scattered around the grounds), and an amazing park and walking paths around the Abbey....
