"We absolutely loved our stay here, we were looking foward to a nice peaceful long weekend and this cottage provided just that. The kids loved having there own rooms as they usually have to share a room when we go away. My son had hours of enjoyment using the extra large box of lego to not only play with but also to do his stop motion videos. We did have the unfortunate inconvenience of car troubles on a bank holiday weekend but sean and suzie were very helpful in suggesting places that could...

"We had a great stay house was really clean and comfortable but unfortunatly it is about 20 km from the train station as it says on website its 15 min walk so we had to get taxis in and out of town which was 30 euro each way Also they don't have credit card facilities so the money had to be revoluted or cash and we weren't informed of this untill day 2.."

Great hotel, amazing staff, great location

"Well done Ellison hotel! Wonderful staff. I've been to numerous hotels and have never seen one where everyone was so kind, attentive and welcoming. In addition, excellent rooms and facilities, great food (e.g., best seafood chowder I've ever had) and central location with all shops within short walking distance. Though I was on a business trip, I had time to admire some of the beauty of Co. Mayo and fell in love with it. "
