"I’m fairly sensitive to smells, and they do use an air freshener of sorts to mask it, but upon walking in you can definitely tell there has been some combination of smoking and pets in the room at some point. "My first bad review ever — We made a reservation through Expedia. We showed up to no one there. No answer on the phone number listed. We contacted Expedia. They could not get in touch with the owners at any number, published or private to Expedia. It took over an hour on the phone with Expedia but they got us another room in another town. Thanks to Expedia we ended up at a much better place. This place is run down looking and old. I would not recommend it."

"Great location to explore Boulder and lots of on-street parking, which helped because we visited on a very busy weekend. The place was not at all spotless (nor was the extra bedding), which begs the question of these hefty cleaning fees. Felt private (no in-person communication with upstairs owners) and we appreciated the laundry.
