A kind man phoned the hotel for us only to find out that we had a one time access on the pedestrian way to check-in and off load the bags. How coukd we know this? "A stunning villa in a wonderful location above the village of Gargnano. The interior layout works very well for a family or group of friends ( we were a family of eight). Only slight drawback is that two of the bedrooms don't have AC so can get hot.The exterior terraces and pool are really great with superb lake views. A short 5/10 minute walk takes you down to the village with easy access for swimming in the lake and a variety of excellent bars and restaurants. So overall a great place to stay."

"Die Lage ist schön mit tollem Blick auf den Gardasee und über Limone. Die Küche ist mangelhaft ausgestattet. Es gibt 2 Platten aber nur große Töpfe, sodass man nur eine Platte nutzen kann. Weder Spüli, noch Lappen, noch Geschirrhandtuch gibt es. Der Kühlschrank war erst nicht einschaltbar und hat dann alles gefroren trotz minimaler Stufe. Im Gemüsefach hat es geschimmelt. Wifi gibt es nur bei der Rezeption. Für Selbstversorger ist die Unterkunft nicht zu empfehlen!"

There is a possibility to play tennis, courts are in a good state, red clay surface. Also there are a lot of hiking routes you can do not far from the hotel. "Die Wohnung ist sehr schön, sehr geschmackvoll und liebevoll dekoriert und hat alles, was für einen gelungenen Aufenthalt nötig ist. Alles ziemlich neu und gepflegt. Liegt traumhaft schön oberhalb von Molina total im Grünen. Morgens wird man vom Kuckuck und sonstigen Vogelgezwitscher empfangen. Emiliana ist eine sehr reizende Person und macht die Übergabe persönlich! Für mich und meine beiden Hunde (eigener eingezäunter Bereich direkt vor der Wohnung) waren es 10 total schöne Tage!"

"Our third stay at the wonderful Lefay Spa overlooking Lake Garda. Still cannot get used to the stunning view over the lake, it's quite something. Love this place so much, it is truly restorative for the soul and mind. Staff are quite wonderful, the Gramen Restaurant outstanding, especially as there is a tasting plant-based menu available (very rare). Our only gripe is the Limonaia restaurant where it's a struggle to find plant based dishes on the menu, plus the wine list by the glass is poor....

"Our first night in Italy after traveling from Switzerland on the fantastic Bernina Express train. The hotel is tucked into a rustic area within walking distance from the train station, but the cobblestone streets make wheeed luggage a bit challenging. The hotel is in an ancient building that has been modernized and updated, making it decieveingly comfortable with a unique feel of antiquity with all modern amenities. It appears to cater to the cycling set with a dedicated bike room, but that seems to be a bonus overall."
