Male manager displayed not training of proper customer service recieved better treatment from his front desk staff Responsiveness to customers need lacking asked for towels never received any, upon arrive only 1 towel and 1 hand towel no bath towels or double sets If you dont speak the language certain staff didnt want to deal with you or bother to take time to explain things Paid for multiple excusions, final excusion left us stranded did not pick us up even though paid for roundtrip service Overall they need to do better!

I would give this hotel one star, specifically because they won’t let you reserve two of their three restaurants on the day you check-in. I expect them to reach out to customers when they book the hotel since we are paying for the entire stay and the amenities they offer. The hotel staff didn’t explain this and provided me with incorrect information about restaurant bookings for the remaining nights. The room was not clean. I stayed in a family room with a terrace, but the jacuzzi on the terrace was in terrible condition. I left the water tap open to fill it up, but after 4-5 hours it wasn’t even half a foot filled. Apparently, there was a small leak, so it didn’t work. I found a used bandage underneath the table, which was disgusting. The shower in the bathroom was leaking water, so I had to lay towels on the floor all the time. I also found two cockroach-like bugs in the bathroom. Overall, I will not return to this place. The staff in the kids’ activity center didn’t even greet or talk to us when we entered. We stood there for 10 minutes, but they just sat there with no communication, so we left. The Veranda staff was really helpful, and I appreciate their hard work and dedication. That is the only positive I will take from this stay.

22 years of visiting Cancun and this was the worst experience. First time I’ve stayed at an all inclusive and had to leave the hotel and go pay for a meal to get something edible. I had read some negative reviews on the food, but the reviews said the food was comparable to a Golden Corral. That’s a slam to Golden Corral. At least at Golden Corral I can piece together a meal. One night my husband even threw up after dinner. One morning at breakfast, the ceiling was leaking down onto the counter the food was on. The room was large but other than making the bed and bringing fresh towels, not really cleaned. We had two bathrooms but only used one of the showers to spray down with sunscreen each morning. The next day when we would go in there you could still see our footprints on the tile where we sprayed. It was only cleaned once in 10 days. The workers seemed average at best when it came to service. Nothing special stands out about any of them. If you are looking for inexpensive but good food and spectacular service I’d recommend Golden Parnassus or NYX.

There were good and bad reviews so decided to try it out myself. First of all, this hotel has the worst food I’ve ever had in my life. The buffet was not horrible but the “fancy” Italian and Mexican restaurant was DISGUSTING. Majority of the people in my party (8 of us) didn’t eat their food. How do you make nasty Mexican food in Mexico? The pool was so dirty! Not sure if they clean it but it was always loaded with hair. You couldn’t swim without rouge hairs being stuck to your body. You could never get a beach chair. People put their stuff there and leave all day. The ice had a smell which made all the drinks taste funny. There was a day where my floor had no water. Couldn’t shower or flush the toilet. They have 2 elevators for the whole hotel of 10 floors. You would wait so long to get on. The staff at the hotel was actually great. They did a good job. I will never stay here again. Horrible place for the money that was paid.

Generally had a decent time here. 2 large pools--1 for all guests and 1 for adults only--and a water play area for kids. Children were excited to access either pool or play area. Buffet food was mediocre but fair. Breakfast egg station and dinner taco station at the buffet was the best. Make sure to make reservations for the other 3 restaurants. I enjoyed the Mexican restaurant, Frida, most. My only suggestion would be to make the shows/performances approximately an hour earlier as my kids were getting bored/tired wsiting for the 9:30pm performances

The Resort is at a great location. Their Dinner reservations system, policy and not accomodating large group is RIDICULOUS . The Pool Bar staff at the Main Pool Arturo and Dayana are Amazing! Eduardo from Entertainment is amazing! These 3 people made our stay definately fun! Aside from the dinner situation overall good.

Came here with 2 kids age 5&7. They had a blast at the kids pool, we barely went to the ocean because of how much they loved the slides. Ocean had pretty big waves in April so it wouldn’t be very safe for kids anyways. Food was pretty good, it was pretty much the same every day though.overall I recommend it and would come back here!

We had no remote for the tv in the room, the phone didn’t work at all and the cleaning staff barely cleaned the room even after high tips left for them. No one speaks English. Limited for snacks and food after hours. Went to the lobby one evening to ask for a fork for a dessert we had saved in the fridge and they refused to get us something. Paid for all inclusive and could never get in for a reservation to the very limited 3 restaurants. There were hand prints on the large mirror in the room and all week after cleaning they were still there. Our room smelt strong of paint the moment we got there. My partner was disappointed with the amount of people trying to sell you excursions and hotel packages right in the lobby. They tricked you by asking if you got your welcome gift. We didn’t get a tour and had no idea where to get towels or anything for the beach loungers. This was our first time to Cancún. We would go back but we will definitely stay at a different resort. Lack of restaurants and evening entertainment.

Room was clean but odd smell was in there, a bit outdated need a bit refreshing and detail repairing even smal things in rooms, like sink drain plug install curtain in the shower so water doesn’t end up all over the floor fan in the bathroom so it actually does the job, floors were marble so cold no rugs so you need to wear flops other that that good place.

The service was not so good.My experience: we didn’t have hot water and I called couple times, I told them at front desk couple times and finally they fixed. The room doesn’t have balcony and windows couldn’t open. Food was same for breakfast, for lunch and for dinner and every day.

This hotel was amazing customer service is awesome I went with my husband and 3 kids and we enjoyed everything from the food to the pool and a mall right in front of the hotel very convenient. The rooms were clean and so spacious with great view of the beach. All the employees really make you feel like home. I give this hotel 5 stars Restaurant are hard to get in since you need a reservation but they have a buffet that’s open most of the day including late night snack.

The website made this place seem a lot better than it actually was. Previous reviews said the place was “old and outdated” and I can confirm. The elevators are not equipped for the capacity of the resort, they were too small and too slow. We waited for the elevator for almost 5 minutes at some times. Upon checking in our room, we noticed our bedsheets were dirty. We paid for the all inclusive package and had trouble making reservations at the restaurants. The app we were instructed to use for reservations and activities went down frequently. Based on my experience from this resort, I would not recommend it to anyone. We also heard other guests complaining about the lack of service from the resort during our stay.

Rooms looks too old and all doors and restrooms are in terrible condition. Food have limited option and looks like same food have been rotated in different time to other station .. I have just did breakfast which was ok . They need to change utensils where the food is served as they look old and dirty.. overall it need rooms and food station updated Pool area food and snacks was good Can’t go back there again !!!

Nice place. Everything was clean. The buffet didn’t have much to offer and got boring after day 2. Staff was friendly but we traveled with a toddler and getting milk from them was a back and forth situation. The lobby people couldn’t even assist with that. However the people from the buffet were able to provide some but it seemed like they would get in trouble for doing so. Overall, the place is very good. We needed transportation one day and the bell boys were able to assist right away. I would say the only thing we felt could be better is the food. Oh and we had no luck trying to make a dinner reservation at one of their restaurants.

We have been coming here for 18 years & this was the first trip with our children. We love the location & staff at this hotel & couldnt wait to share it with them. 2 of our 3 rooms had water coming from the ceilings & the A/C did not work well. There was no hot water in all 3 rooms most days but that was bareable. The hotel could use some upgrades or better maintenance. Its still our favorite location in the hotel zone.

We had an amazing vacation at Park Royal. This was our second visit but first with our young girls From the moment we walked in the doors we were treated so well by all of the staff. The buildings were safe and clean. There was so much to do for both adults and children. We definitely never went hungry or thirsty at all. All of the guests were happy and friendly. The rooms were perfect. If you are travelling with a young family I highly recommend the presidential / family suite with terrace. We received a complementary upgrade to it and I was blown away. We had a living room, bedroom, two bathrooms and our own private splash pool, which was perfect for when we all needed some down time but didn’t want to sacrifice our vacation for it. I don’t think I can say enough about the staff. They were all incredibly helpful! If you want something or have questions just ask! Our concierge Luisa was amazing. We had so many great servers through out the week including but not limited to Saray in the Italian restaurant and Hector, Maria and Wilbert at the buffet. I wish I had gotten some names but the funtastic team who ran the activities was also amazing. This resort is right across the street from La Isla mall which is a great place to wander around, shop and/or enjoy many activities. The bus is easy & cheap to use and stops right out front if you want to explore more. Whether going as a family or couple I highly recommend this resort!
